MythSpell said:Agreed. This is slow even on wired broadband. It must be downright painful on an actual iPhone. It is slow as hell, but if you're downloading articles (instead of just the pictures, ahem ahem) you can get a whole magazine page of type to read through for each 30-seconds you wait to download. Would never pay for this service, but for free, why not? |

Thanks WishingOnAStar. Slowly going through Popular Mechanics magazine on Firefox. My connection over here sucks. But free is free. I am able to right click on the pages and it saves them as a .JPG image. So I can save them to my hard drive and read them later, they are just images. I tried PC Magazine and Popular Mechanics. dave

Are there more magazines offered than what I see when clicking on the link? You stated that there are tons of them, I only can see twenty. Is there a free method of converting this to pdf?

That worked thanks!! robby69 said:ironman69 said:The site comes up there is just no link to magazines. I can click on the main zino page but all you get is free short page previews not entire magazines.
After you change to iphone in the safari developer window, then type in www.Zinio.com/iphone into the safari browser manually and the magazine icons will show up. |

I think that's it...I was pretty disappointed in the selection too. I was expecting hundreds... I'll keep an eye on the selection from time to time to see if good stuff is added because if so, this is a pretty cool deal. I think the OP perhaps shouldn't have used the word "tons", but otherwise this was an excellent deal post. |

THANKS, robby69, LilBo and WishingOnAStar...you guys rock. Works beautifully in Firefox, and the User Agent Switcher is a very nice little tool. |

Thanks OP. Most of these are better quality than the torrents I usually get. Better for printing. Firefox and User Switcher works great. Does anyone have a method to make this work on Windows Mobile Devices? |

Looks like you can also preview the first 15-pages or so of ALL magazines. They also offer a FREE complimentary issue (full magazine) of 4 more titles by clicking the link on the front page of Zinio.com. BusinessWeek Motor Trend Shutterbug Women's Health |
