I am curious how it works.

Keep in mind: Hand wash only, Drip dry in the shade

Does anyone actually wear this thing?

I like their design a bit better, but as the OP mentioned it will require another battery. However it does say that it is machine washable.

As well as its undeniable practicality, this über-hip tee looks pretty darned cool. And in terms of showing off your geek credentials it beats all those 'My other car is a Millennium Falcon/I don't remember this sci-fi show but I'll pretend to' T-shirts by a country mile.

Do geeks really use the term "country mile"? Shouldn't it be light-year or better yet, parsec?

Amazing... whats even more amazing is the fact that some people might actually wear this... what a sad, sad world we live in.

Stooooopid is as stoopid does.

I preferred the sound activated one.

yeah... ladies and gents... truly a geek item, not for all.

Thanks for posting the TG Link.

But I thought about the machine washable aspect... but the instructions say
TG said:Carefully peel animated decal from front of T-Shirt

I'm not sure if I like that type of construction... i like mine to be permanently attached. Afraid that it will not attach properly after a few washes...

The OPs shirt is not really for nerds, as it only goes up to XL. The ThinkGeek link goes up to XXL. If they were truly meant for nerds, there would be at least a XXL, if not a XXXL.
