The deal is good but the company seems to be bad, look at the later responses and follow the links to the reviews and ratings.

Had to give red to warn others of the possible problems. I am glad I didn't buy these, was planning on buying over 20 HD DVDs.

Why does www.inetdvd.com display a google webpage ?

alert mods

I don't believe the inetdvd.com reviews, website etc nor the eBay user id inetdvd are one in the same with inetvideo.com...and posting that as a reference is doing a disservice.

Searching for the email address used for the Paypal transaction on eBay, I find the following:

The email address inetvideo-eBay@inetvideo.com is used by a valid eBay member with a feedback score of 117592 (98.9% positive). (note this confirms the previously posted eBay ID is not the same due to the number of posted feedback)

Because it isn't the same website posted by the OP (inetvideo.com).

That is why having PayPal and paying with a Credit Card via PayPal helps protect you...If I don't get em, I still can charge back my card AND PayPal.

Thanks. Was just about to go check this myself. Definitely worth passing on.

HD player deals??

That's great advice. It's definitely a good idea to read HD-DVD disc reviews before buying any particular titles. I always do that and I've passed on a number of maginal HD-DVD titles. The reviews can also help identify the really awesome releases.

DVDtalk.com is another great site for HD-DVD reviews:

I almost bit on this one, but shipping is a bit steep (while this is not a bad deal, I expect an even greater deal, like free shipping, since the format is 'dead'). Then after seeing reviews and feedback, I am glad I didn't bite now...

Some BB still have open-box Toshiba HD-DVD players. Picked up an open-box HD-A30 last week for $50.

I was impressed with the prices for a "dead" format (which I have) . . . but high shipping on multiple discs makes it a poor value for me. Add the bad ratings = no go for me also.

Nevertheless, thanks OP.

The negative reviews and feedback initially mentioned in this thread were not for this seller.

The eBay feedback for seller mentioned by the OP is 98.9% positive for over 100,000 transactions. No worries on that basis.

See also quickNdirty's post above for more details.

Shipping is reasonable. I am assuming they are selling the discs at cost or at a loss. I suppose they could raise the price of the movies to $10 each and make it free shipping. If they do that, you will lose out on the hot deal when purchasing multiple discs.

If you can get 5 movies for under $50 shipped, you can't really complain about the costs.

Can you run a business and ship for less?

Shipping + box + filler is probably $4.50-$6.50 via UPS. Then you also spend time finding the DVD's and packing them into the box. Add $2. Shipping and Handling costs them $6.50 to $8.50.

Wow! Thank goodness for posting this! These guys only have a 98.9% positive rating on eBay with only 117,592 thousand transactions. Definitely sounds like a shady outfit!

I'm tired waiting for Amazon to drop prices.

Ordered:

Bourne Ultimatum
Casino
King Kong
Fast and Furious 2
Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift
The Mummy
The Mummy Returns
The Scorpion King

Total: $68.42, about $8.5 each, finally can complete some of the collection!

I order 18 hd dvd's and there was no $10 discount showing. The shipping cost came out to be $38.95 plus $1.75 ins. for shipping. So divide 18 into 38.95 and you will get 2.1638889. So Mine shipping cost is $2.16 per dvd. The $10 discount was built into the total shipping cost.

A quick calculation for your order without the discount is ~ $37.00. So with the discount it will be around $27.00. I hope this will help you out.
