Check out the reviews on the Buy.com page. Also over at slickdeals someone mentioned that the warranty is actually 90 days, and that its misrepresented on the Buy.com page.

So I cancelled my SquareTrade warranty that I purchased with the 30% off coupon then after they refunded my credit card I purchased a new warranty with them for the same item using the FIFTYOFF code. This time I was a previous customer (even though that warranty had been cancelled) so the code worked no problem - 2 years extra for $39.

TV finally arrived (a week late) and all I got was a tv in a box. No remote control, no manual, not even a bloody power cord! This is ridiculous. Tv seems to work ok (it uses a standard desktop computer power cord). Can the other people who bought the refurb 240s chime in as to whether yours came with manuals, remotes, power cords, etc.?

My tv came in perfect working condition even cosmetic with the exception of a noticeable tiny piece of dust under the screen. I asked for a return before they sent the replacement tvs and they sent it anyway and charged me. In order to get a refund they want me to send the tv back at my expense. My tv came complete with remote, warranty material, etc. I would definitely keep the tv if it had a year warranty but according to westinghouse its only 90 days. Buy.com did refund some money for my troubles so far 5 dollars lol... which brings my total for this tv to 424, maybe ill just spring for the squaretrade instead of dealing with this.

Does anyone know how AMEX will handle this? Since they sent the 2nd tv without my permission? Can I refute the charges?

Turns out Buy.com will want you to return the entire tv if you're missing accessories (power cord, manual, remote and warranty card in my case). Fortunately, you can register the tv directly over westinghouse's customer support and don't need the warranty card. The tv takes a regular computer 3 prong power cord, which leaves the remote control. In my case, I don't really need it. After waiting 2 weeks I'm not about to send back a perfectly good tv for a remote I'll never use. If anyone else is in a similar boat, fyi you can also buy a remote from westinghouse (not sure how much) but certainly not worth spending weeks waiting for Buy.com to process a return and send you another tv. At least not for me. Now to go partake of that squaretrade deal!

TV has no issues so far. Came complete and new working condition. Not even dusty like others stated. I think I got lucky but I haven't been able to fully test it yet.

Will definitely get that warranty though

Call me an idiot... But how the heck do you remove the stand for the TV? i mounted it on the wall and now i dont know how to remove it >< i removed all the screws and nothing...

Been using the TV for a few days now and I'm pretty happy with the quality of the image. I used the settings mentioned earlier in this thread but find the highlights look way too bright. Like excessive light bloom. Otherwise, good deal.
