Not sure how they compare with other psu, however on ratshack they have several others of more power for about $5 more
I did a comparison on thermaltake and found that the tr2 430 againts the pure power 500 has a 5% less efficiency as well as dual 80mm fans compared to the 12mm fan

I have grown accustomed to cutting UPC's from boxes without first opening the boxes to ensure I'm not in danger of cutting anything important, be careful with this one! I found the PSU wiring right up against the box where the UPC was located, luckily, I didn't damage anything.
