With the previous offers (Canon digicam and GPS), I think most of FWers that don't mind an extra Discover card have done the deal. Too bad one can apply Discover Card once in 30 days
It looks like the Nuvi 200 would have the best resale value.
For the last couple of days, it looks like the average resale price for the items are: Garmin - $140ish Flip - $130ish A580 - $110ish
Of course, those values are irrelative to which item you want or could use the most, but just in case anyone is wondering about objective value.
The A580 can do 640x480 videos at 20fps, which isn't bad. Quality on videos from Canon digital point and shoots are generally pretty good, so that's something to consider if you want something to do stills and video.
The Nuvi seems like a good gift item for dad with Father's Day around the corner, so I'm going to go with that (even though it probably won't arrive until Father's Day 2009).
In Canon A580 thread........... Put a charge on my new Discover Card 5/20/08. Got Canon A580 Camera ship confirm with tracking, today 6/4/08

I had applied for the GPS, got it. Wanted to do this one. Has been about 34 days. I applied, called and found out this application was canceled. Anyone know if this will affect my credit score? Also, does anyone know if I now have to wait 30 days to apply again, from today?

So here is what happened. They kept giving me different answers. I was told I had to wait 30 days to apply again. I said it had be like 33 days. They were going to transfer me to a different dept. Was taking too long, so I hung up. Called again today. Was told you can't reapply within 6 months. I said that that isn't what I was told yesterday. They claimed policy has been in place since 10/07. I asked to be transferred to that other department. They told me I couldn't reapply within 11 months because I had an open account. I then said, so I have to wait another year? I said what happens if I cancel my other card and then reapply? Then I wouldn't have to wait a full year. Person put me on hold and after a little asked if I wanted to cancel the card and reapply. I said I didn't want to reapply on the phone because I wouldn't be entitled to the promotion. She then went on hold again and said "I can reopen your application and approve it." So hopefully I am going to get the promotion item. I probably took a hit on my credit score because of the closing of the card so soon after opening, but I'm not buying a house or car anytime soon.
After lurking on this one for a while, I decided to try this one first. Thx. to all for previous posts / intel.

I've hooked mine up using the TV connector cable and get little to no sound coming out the left channel (white). I've ohmed out the cable and it is fine. I've even switched plugs white for red and red for white when plugging into TV to make sure it was not my TV. So I then bought another flip at the store to try out and it does the same thing.
For anyone else that has received this or has a Flip Video Ultra can you check to make sure when hooking it up via the TV Connector cable you get sound out both channels?
Thanks

got denied, I guess that's because I have been using one heavily already
Activated June 26 and have almost given up waiting... just got email notice my Flip Ultra shipped via USPS. Tracking number does not show up on usps website yet - probably slowest mail with delivery confirmation only.

Well, I got my camcorder yesterday. I was the one that did the GPS, got denied by Discover when applying for this one, got them to reactivate my application. So you can get more than one offer if you work at it.
