$25 off. Haven't heard of the brand or used them myself, but they appear to be a decent little set of earphones for those who are in the market. Sound isolating seals. Tangle resistant cord. Father's day gift??? Other sites sell for $70 and up.
nice find OP. There's a positive review for these on Amazon.

The trouble is, THAT is the ONLY comment I could find anywhere for earbuds that no one seems to have ever heard of. To make matters worse, the kid that wrote it probably did not even have these, since he claims to be using them with his iPhone, and they clearly state that they are not compatible with the iPhone. They resemble the Vibe earbuds, perhaps he confused the two.

Are you sure it's the reviewer that's confused? How can any headphones possibly be not compatible with a PMP?

From the very same Amazon page as the so called review: "Compatible with iPods and MP3 players, not compatible with iPhone". I suggest you Google the iPhone issue for more info.
Many earbuds are NOT compatible with the iPhone jack arrangement. Again, I said "probably did not have these". At any rate, this one and only comment on these earbuds (if it's these earbuds) is from someone who's only remark on their sound quality is "the bass is insane". Draw your own conclusions.

There are adapters that make any standard headphones compatible with the iPhone. The "reviewers" other reviews show the adapter that he may be using.
I was concerned that with only one review he could be a "plant" from the Lenntek company, but from the other reviews he has posted that did not appear to be the case.
I agree with being cautious of new names in the marketplace. For me the combination of Costco typically selling quality items combined with the reasonable price and good review on Amazon validated a purchase to see for myself.
Does anyone know how to choose black color from costco.com? It said three color black, silver, and red but there are only two choices in the pulldown box.
Black was available yesterday in the dropdown. They may be out of it now.

I ordered them with the idea of returning them if they stunk. Got them yesterday. I will keep them. Similar to the Sony's in fit and feel, but a bit more sturdy. I like the wrapped cord. I am no audiophile, but the sound is great IMHO.
Received mine today. The packaging and build quality is nothing special, but the sound is great. I would give these the edge over my Shure E2's that I have had for a couple years. Minus the fancy case that my Shures included. Though I may not describe the bass as "insane" like the Amazon review, I would say they do have a nice bump to them. The sound isolation gets the job done. Wearing them in the yard I could barely, if at all, hear my neighbors lawn mower.
In conclusion they may not be a familiar name brand, but if sound is your highest priority then you won't go wrong with these especially at this price. Recommended.

Thanks for the review. One question: how does the size (width) of the plastic "post" that actually goes in your ear compare with the Shures? I know there are different size tips that can be put onto the post, but I'm wondering about the size of the inner part itself. Thanks...

If I understand what you mean by "post", then the Lenntek's are a tad wider(maybe 10-15%). And they are metallic rather than the plastic of the Shures.
I got mine, my little (apparently) ears only fit the small ones. The stock ipod earphones hurt my ears as if they were too big. I found that these stay in, they keep lots of noise out and they sound pretty good for little tiny earphones. I think it is a good pair for < 30.
I know that some of the better headphones sound better after breaking them in after a few hours. Does anyone know if that's the case for these as well?

Any word on iphone compatiblity for those who got these? If these fit the Iphone, I may pull the trigger.

Just looking at the picture on the Costco website I would hazard a guess that these are indeed compatible with the iPhone.

Looks like they keep pushing back the expiration on these headphones, so if you want them they are still there.
Can anyone confirm if these are available at the b&m or are they online only? TIA.

Thanks... torn between the two.
I returned the CX-300 to Newegg as it collects and amplifies all the noise generated inside my skull. I can clearly hear my neck bone moving while wearing it, no need to say the rustling from the wire. Never tried Sonix. Anyone has similar problem?

Impressions from a user at Head-Fi: Link. (It appears that they're not too familiar with the brand either, as they're also referencing deal forums in their thread.)
I'll have to keep my eye on this. Thanks for the heads-up.

For those too lazy (or indifferent) to view the link above, here's a portion of a review that I agree with completely:
"First impression is that this is an OUTSTANDING value. For $25, they simply cannot be beaten. I've heard worse at three times the price. They are a clear jump over any kind of 'stock' earbud, and comfortable right out of the box to boot. If any immediate criticism or comment, it would be that there seems to be a hump in the low mids. The low bass extends pretty deep for earbuds though, so this may be the tradeoff. I for one will take a little extra low mids over the tinny, raspy sound of iBuds any day.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not hearing anything like what one might spend for top or high quality IEM's, but I'm totally happy with what I spent.
I want to listen to them some more before writing any big details, but anyone thinking about the $25 deal, go for it, the value is huge. Even at $50 or $75 I wouldn't be disappointed."
I'm using these to replace my misplaced Shure E3C and I'm relatively satisfied.
Well I will write you a review, I ordered these a bit over 3 months ago, and they don't work now. I am telling the person who asked for a sennheiser comparison: sennheiser's don't break in 3 months. They sound good, and they get real good base for in-ears, but as soon as it comes out of Costco's looooooooong return policy, it breaks. And no: I did not pull it or something, it broke under normal use.
Exact details of breaking: I was listening to them and the left one just decreased about 80% in volume and didn't get better. I am trying to get a replacement from the company; good luck with that.
This deal is coming back 11/24-12/14 and will be even better at just $20. (Source-Costco Online Holiday Gift Guide mailed to members.)

Anyone else who broke theirs??
There should be no reason that you cannot take these back. It doesn't fall under their 90 day policy, therefore, they will take it back, with no questions asked.
Mine work fine, I am quite happy with them. I use them exclusively for running as they don't fall out or bother me nearly as much as the stock ipod buds. They have survived months so far with no problems.

I "converted" my Etymotic ER6i IEMs to fit the iPhone by trimming away some of the plastic from the plug as described here and here.. It was very easy to do.

I got my wife a pair and she was freakin out about how clear they were, but she's weird about sharing ear buds..I can see that with others, but with your hubby?
I've had mine for over a year now and they are incredible. Purchased from Costco as well for a few bucks more.
The bass is actually insane. If you disagree, your EQ might be set on flat. Comes with several plug sets to fit your ear. The cord is surrounded by some nice woven material. Feels and works at a very high level of quality. Having said that, my friend had her break a few times (cord issue) and had them replaced by the company.
Purchased 2 pairs of the Sonix from Costco. One pair quit working (left side). Rather than take them back, I contacted Lenntek. They responded very quickly, apologized for the inconvenience and offered additional earbuds and a carrying case if I would send them back. They sent a new pair within 24 hours after receiving them.
