EDIT: Hmmm, just like with the W370s, you can only order 1 phone at a time per order. And with buying just one, you don't meet the $25 minimum purchase requirement for the free Super Saver Shipping. So I would guess that you could buy 5 (the limit indicated on the rebate instructions), but you would have to buy them separately and buy something else on the same order for an additional charge of $10.01 to meet the free Super Saver Shipping requirement. Bummer. EDIT #2: Nevermind. Although it says I am not eligible for the free Super Saver Shipping, the Standard Shipping is free again, like it was with the W370s. So I'm off to buy 5. EDIT #3: Successfully bought 5.  |

I thought I would post this for any Net10 users, or those wanting cheaper minutes.
How to get Net10 service for less than 3 cents a mintue.
Net10 has the refurb Nokia 1600 and an additional 300 minute card for
$30. The phone comes with 300 minutes and 60 days of service upon
activation. You can then add the airtime card for another 300 minutes
and another 60 days. Total of 600 minutes and 120 days for $30. That
is half price of regular airtime and you get the free phone.
That is 5.3 cents per minute calculating a 6% tax rate. They are
still offering free shipping on $35 or more, so if you buy 2 of the
deals you will get free shipping also. And now
How to get Net10 service for less than 3 cents a mintue. Buy several of the Nokia 1600 refurb deals that come with the
additional 300 minute card. using a 6% tax rate and free shipping
this would be $31.80 per deal. Sell the 300 minute cards on eBay for $29.50. After listing fees and
final value fees this will result in a net loss of $6.80 cents on
each deal, but you will still have the phone and the 300 minutes at
activation. $6.80 / 300 = 2.26 cents per minute. If you do this for several deals then every 2 months, or whenever you
run out of minutes, you call Net10 and transfer the phone number and
any remaining service from the old phone to the new phone. I say do a transfer every 2 months because Net10 does not stack
airtime like Tracfone does. This means if you activate 2 phones and
call to transfer, they will transfer the 300 minutes but not the 60
days. So you will end up with 600 minutes and only 60 days on one
phone. Tracfone recently changed their policy on stacking airtime and
the is an indication that Net10 may also be changing but at this time
there is no confirmation of this. The airtime will stack if you do the transfer online. Gsm to cdma is
easy, gsm to gsm transfer online is not very flexible. |

No problem, much of it is confusing to me. I only brought up the first page because I have seen folks that were uncomfortable posting their zip code. I hope you didn't take it as being snippy. YES, that phone will work just fine for you, you're in a COGSM4 area, same as me. CO Market = CDMA [such as Alltel]

grumpydamnit I forgot to mention, you will use another zip code like 75701 to order that phone, then change the zip at check out. You will most likely end up with Tracfone sending you a new Sim Card but they use DHL and it only takes a few days at no charge. Good Luck! |

Both the phone and the bundle have the same promotional code applied to it so you may be able to get the phone and the double minute card for 29.99 instead of 39.99. Net10 has a Father's Day bundle. Tracfone better hurry up or the orders won't arrive in time.

For me, it was me not understanding, not your instructions. They are clear, I am sure. I just got confused on the whole COGSM4 thing, probably because I have no clue what it means, but the CO in front of the GSM4 for my area made me unsure. But for someone else with an ounce of understanding on it they are probably fine. When I go to the Tracfone phone order area, it pulls up the the Motorola C261 with a DMFL card for $39.99 (free shipping) and the LG 225 phone, which includes the DMFL feature (and accessory kit) for $49.99 (free shipping). I am leaning towards the C261 based on overall positive reviews on various sites, and some consistent negative feedback on the LG 225, notably its charging problems. Both are camera phones (although I know this feature will be lackluster on both). Is the C261 the better Tracfone phone bundle? |

UPDATE The new Motorola W376g with bluetooth is now available for order from Circuit City. $49.99 w/ free shipping.
Tracfone took this phone off their phones page last week and recently told someone it would not be available until next month. W376g at Circuit City. Circuit City says it comes with DMFL. See the phone details at Tracfone for the W376g
And also here Tracfone put the W376g on their site within the last hour. Includes Double Mintues for Life It is available in the GSM4, GSM5 & GSM5AT markets.
Also this is the first time Tracfone has offered a phone with data capabilities in the T-Mobile market, is this an error? The model number at Circuit City is TFMTW376P4
The P4 indicates that it has a C4 sim card which is AT&T. I think there is going to be some problems with this phone selling in the GSM5 markets. |

On the phone details page you provided it says it will hold up to 100. Now that the phone is out, I'm curious to see what they will do with the W370. |

I thought so too, but when I checked the details page, it's listed towards the bottom. "Double Minutes for the life of this phone upon activation" Since they didn't list that or its other notable features, I'm thinking that possibly they wanted to reduce the stock of their other phones that are listed as DMFL... *shrug* |
