My experience -

Purchased a $50 generic red K-Mart gift card and the Hulk voucher printed out. Used that $50 gift card to purchase another $50 K-mart card but the Hulk voucher DID NOT print out for the 2nd transaction.

Went back later and purchased a 2nd $50 K-mart gift card and the voucher did print. Used the 2 $50 K-mart gift cards to purchase a $100 Sears Gift card for the Dockers promotion.

Anyone noticed there is a line said "Sorry, but we couldn't find the Promo Code you entered. Please try again." on the result page when you enter the promo code on the website?

Does it matter? Can we use it at any theater returned despite the invalid code warning?

I came back and bought the gift card at Customer Service; all i got was the receipt.

Me: "Where is my voucher?"

CSR: "What voucher?"

Me: "2 Free tickets to Hulk".

CSR: "I have no idea what that is."

She reads the flyer, and replies, "It says while quantities last. It's out of stock."

I asked for the proof that they are indeed out of stock. She says we don't have it. I even called 1-866-Kmart-4-u. CSR also said the same thing and said there is nothing we could do.

Guys! HELPPP

What should I do? Purchase time on the receipt is 2:44PM.

Concerns:

1) It says CASH CARD on the receipt. Is that what you guys have on your receipts?

2) Could some one scan the receipt and voucher with the time stamp on it ONLY if it's after that time?

You have to buy the gift cards at a regular register. DO NOT buy at Customer Service Desk. I did that originally and 45 min. later they tell me I have to use a regular checkout register for it to work. Fortunately I got to go to the front of the line for my hassle.

I used my K-Mart cards online at Sears.com for the Dockers deal and it went through with no proble.

bought two $50 gcs with kmartt gcs and the codes printed fine. The cashier was mighty nice. Now, off to Searss for the dockkers deal.

I used the $100 Kmart giftcard at Sears, there was no problem. The Kmart CS did not allow me to purchase a Sears gift card with Kmart giftcard. So went to Sears hoping that I should be able to use it in Sears.

I love to shop at Sears. I find very good deals in Sears. Infact I spent another $100 + gift card $100 in Sears. See..this is what happens when you get carried awaywith freestuff and giveaways... land up spending more .. that is what the stores mktg is all about.. drag the customers in and they will land up buying something... Happy bargain shopping !

when I called the 800-922-5511 given in the card to confirm the balance.

one card has the 16 digit code (1234 1234 1234 1234 + a PIN# under scratchable gray stripe
at the back and the automated system confirmed it valid with right $ amt.

but second card has the format 123456 123456789 1234 (ie total of 19 digits + pin# )
and the automated phone system says it is unable to regognize this card and I should
call later to talk to CSR !!

Anyone seen this strange issue ?
Should I go back to Kmart and exchange it for a different card or Sears card ?

Answering my own question here...

I bought a $50 KM GC this AM. It was the green "Dad" card that looks like part of a Hulk design. Anyway, I used TEN $5 GCs to pay for the new card. So, I can only assume it is at least TEN GCs-LOL!

As far as a merchandise purchase goes, I only needed to use TWO GCs for today's items. Still interested to know if there is a maximum amount accepted for either GC or merchandise purchase...

I went to 2 K-Mart stores and they would not let me buy the K-Mart giftcards with credit card. They told me that I had to use cash or debit card only? Very strange. Anyone has similar experience?
