Note that this phone is difficult, if not impossible to unlock.

Daughter has this phone and it is acting up. I just want to replace the phone...don't want any minutes or any other charges like that. Do I understand right that I can just get this phone for free without any hidden fees or buying a pre-paid card up front? If so, this is a sweet deal for me.

$30 is child's play. $130 (like from Comcast) is more of a sweat. Besides, T-Mobile rebates are reliable.

where we get the rebate form?

Called the CSR and he said there is nothing additional things we need to buy, and the phone already comes with $10 talktime.

Where could we get the rebate form? Thank you.

I went all the way through except hitting the place order button and did not see any details about the rebate - no pdf, nothing. www.tmobilerebates.com doesn't list the Nokia 2610. Passing.

I also had the same concerns so I called the CSR and she did an over-the-phone order and said the rebate forms will be in the mail when the phones are shipped. I got two phones (because I am sure daughter will break yet another phone). She was very accommodating and hopefully this will go smoothly.

I'd recommend a pass on this deal unless you want to gamble your $30.

I had the company fight me tooth and nail over a rebate with the Nokia 6030 To-Go deal last year. A number of us on here and the "other" site were affected by their made up T&C that were never listed on the PDF. Additionally, some members reported the CSRs told them T-Mobile.com purchases weren't an "authorized dealer".

If you really need a phone that supports the GSM network, it might be worth the risk.

Rebate may be one per address.

Let's hope she is right.

I get your point, but your post is ignoring the obvious difference in this case. In the old deal, you were buying the phone from t-mo and then pairing it with an unadvertised rebate. This time, t-mo is clearly, directly advertising the rebate in combination with the purchase. So there is no inherent risk or more cause for concern than with any other rebate. You're comparing apples and oranges.
