Note: While supplies last. Tax and shipping charges apply. Offer not available in retail stores; purchase must be made through T-Mobile.com or by calling 1-877-387-4324. Offer available only through purchase of Prepaid device and qualified Prepaid Service plan. Not sure if it will work without the plan or even which plan they are taking about. |

Besides, T-Mobile rebates are reliable. No, they are not. The $30 one I had was on their site, I was told the form would be in the box. When it wasn't they e-mailed me a form and it was still denied by them. I've had no problems with the service, but a rebate coming through from them I would not count on. |

Nothing else to buy, but to qualify for the rebate, you must activate the SIM, make at least one call, and your account must be active when the rebate is processed. The airtime is valid for 90 days, so it shouldn't be necessary to add any more time (assuming you save at least a minute). Discalimer: This is all based on the T&C's of previous TMO rebates. |

Note that this phone is difficult, if not impossible to unlock. SIM Card Unlock Code FAQs Are there any TMO phones that cannot be unlocked? Currently, all TMO Sidekick® phones and the TMO To Go Nokia 2610P are unable to be unlocked. |

This is my opinion, not a threadcrap. If you want a "real" phone, I'd suggest that you get the Motorola V195s (Quad-Band) for $39.99 - free $25 refill (when it returns). Assuming that you can use the $25 card or sell it for close to face value, then the Moto is only ~$15 more and no rebate. Plus, you can get the unlock code from TMO, if you meet the requirements, and use the phone anywhere in the world with another provider's SIM card. Basic requirements for unlock are: - Customer for 90 days or more - Refill within 30 days for pre-paid - 90+ days since your last unlock request |

She understood why I wanted them (to replace a phone on a monthly plan) and she said the 10 minutes airtime was good for only 60 days (but I don't plan to use it as prepaid so I don't care). If I have any problems with anything she promised, I can always go to the local TMobile Company Store nearby and talk it over with them. |

My rebate was denied last time on the basis that instant discount is already applied, even though it was advertised on the web page. Even BBB couldn't resolve the issue. They don't honor their own rebates. |

Obviously she is giving out incorrect information. So, I would take anything she said with a grain of salt. |
