still nothing for me either..

I mailed my rebates in mid-june. They received them and never rejected them but did not start processing them until end of july. Now they want me to wait 6-8 weeks from the end of july (ie, mid to late september) for my rebates, which will mean I have to add dollars to both of my phones to keep them active until that time.

I argued that the rebate form says 6-8 weeks from the postmark date, but they are not budging.

They never rejected me, so I dont have a tracking number showing a rejection. The sales dept will not issue a credit without a rejected tracking number. So I cant get a credit.

It seems I have no choice but to add minutes to keep the phones active until my rebates get approved.

Unless BBB can help - I just filed a complaint.

I received a letter in the mail this weekend mentioning an invalid channel of purchase. I called the number Sar provided, and CSR said that they are aware of the problem, and that they will credit back the $30 to the card used to purchase the phone. CSR said that it's an ongoing issue that isn't being fully implemented across the system, and no official direction as to how to proceed, so they're on their own discretion to issue a credit.

For those with problems, just make certain that the CSR pulls up your order and reviews it, versus simply responding that they can't do anything.

Sardarji: "Folks good news!

Call (800)672-5390 tell them rebate issue.

You need the following:

Order number
Phone number
Denied tracking number"

Mine will be credited within 7 days
well, I just did the same thing because my rebate was rejected twice (although it did not supprised me). It really works, thanks to Sardarji and all dudes here

Helpful info.

Just called that number and provided the customer agent with the 3 numbers; she told me to call back about same time tomorrow AM for latest status on my $30 rebate. Sounds promising.

what did you mean by that ? Did you actually get the rebate ? Or, credit card refund ?

GOt the rejection letter. I couldnt be bothered to call them coz I sold the $25 air time for $20 plus $5 FatCash making it almost the same price of the phone. A few weeks later I got a $30 debit card from to-mobile in the mail. I randomly read this post again today so what the heck, I called them and they put a credit request through to me, I should have my $30 check within 7-10 days. Hope that would come through. Sweetest deal from T-Mobile.

Nothing here yet. Heck, just called (800)672-5390 again a few minutes ago. The female customer agent created another rebate request to their internal org. for my case and told me to call back in 7-10 business days for result.

Receiving this $30 rebate will be a bonus to my extra "earning" from this deal (cause T-mobil has mistakenly sent me three (3) $25 refill cards)

I can wait

my last call to (800) 672-5390 made on 9/10/08; $30 refund posted on my Discover on 9/17/08. So, it took 7 days.
