excellent little drive imo. pretty fast transfer speeds, nice rubber case. coworker and i have both had this drive for ~ a year, abuse the hell out of 'em and they still work great.
BTW: Does anyone know about these Shell Shock promotions from Newegg? Where, when or how it is announced and what is on sale? I can't find anything on their site.

in for 2 I actually have been shopping for two of these for nearly a month now (see how many threads I've been posting on regarding flash drives... lol). Went to several stores B&M after flash drives were mentioned in clearance deals, all to no avail. I hope this purchase goes through!

4GB for $10 is a no-brainer, so at least buy one. Give your friends and relatives those older 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB drives. These days, 2GB is the minimum size.

This is normal. When Newegg has a special promotion and they get flooded with orders, it takes a while for them to be injected into the system. The same thing happened when they had the PayPal 20% rebate promotion awhile back.

They say on the order that the email will be sent after the order is processed. I saved and printed my receipt. If they loose my order I'll make a stink.
And if you type in your order number directly by clicking on the link where it says "if your order isn't showing up", you'll see that it's right there, just not in your account yet.
I just set up my account with Newegg having put 3 of these Flash Drives in my shopping cart. I just received the folowing message as I attempted to order ----
Item# N82E16820233027 is removed from shopping cart due to quantity limitation/insufficient stock. Some combo items might be affected by this.
Your shopping cart is empty.
If you think this is an error, please click here for suggestions.
I hope they get more stock. In the meantime it looks like I missed this deal.
