If you zoom in on the box graphic, the star sticker says "1 year sub to f+s included"

Not bad.

Yeah in the description it mentions the one year subscription also. This seems like a nice gift set and if you look at the other similar Field & Stream sets, they're around $45 and have the same box and subscription card. The subscription alone at Amazon is around $10.
