Lowest price on the web by a pretty large margin. Add to cart for $1,099. Use coupon code AFLSHP786 for a $313 discount. Shipping is free. Tax applicable to residents in NY and NJ. Use the PG rebate (thanks to slackerace) for another $10 off.

Amazon reviews are out here.

EDIT (thanks to SD):
Circuit City has it for $1099 less 10% coupons code ZXAKLWWA68 brings their's down to $990. You can have them pm it to $786 less 10% of the $313 difference ($1099-$786) or $31 = $751.

$10 pricegrabber rebate

Cheapest price is $887.72 shipped on price grabber, so this is over $100 cheaper. Not bad.

Are LCD HDTVs going to go down when they get ready to switch completely to digital in February?

Prices are already dropping significantly. Good news for us!

? what would that have to do with anything. It's still far cheaper to buy a converter box than buy a new TV just to get a digital tuner. Besides, people on cable/satellite won't be affected. The only ones affected are the ones using an over the air tuner right now..... which probably AREN'T the ones who have 800 to spend on a tv considering they couldn't afford cable before.

That's an idiotic statement...

FW ROCKS! I am so getting this TV. I just got the 720p last week from OD for the same price. Glad I didn't set it up yet.

Question - I've never PM something before, Do I just need to take a printout of the cart from 6th Ave to CC?

And for the 10% off - it's an online coupon... how do I go about getting them to honor it instore? Just give 'em the code?

(Sorry, I'm a fairly new FWer, so any and all help is appreciated).

It always was at 1099. You have to apply the coupon code in the OP to get it to 786.

For those on the fence about this deal, I'd suggest holding out until mid-summer for better deals. We're still in the first half of current '08 TV models from various manufacturers. I posted this deal but am holding out for a better deal myself.

Bought one, but I hooked up my computer to it for watching HD/Blu-Ray and I'm getting HDCP ERRORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought hte LG GGC-H20L internal drive for my computer.

Does this tv not support hdcp?...? I'm pretty sure my XFX 8800gt alpha dog edition does... or so I thought. My monitor does since it worked through this.

How do you have it hooked up? DVI out on the video card to HDMI in on the TV? Or DVI out on the video card to PC input on the TV?

I had a DVI to HDMI cable hooked-up. For whatever reason it's working now...odd, perhaps it was a one time thing or I simply needed to reboot. I even have it playing on the HDTV while I'm writing this (dual view).
