Searched for this post, but couldn't find any. Please delete if its a repost

Panasonic TH-42PX80U 42" 720P Plasma - $799 @ FRY's ( + Shipping) OR (Free In Store Pickup + Local Sales Tax in AZ, CA, GA, OH, TX, NV,WA, IL and IN)

It cost me $43 in Shipping to Virginia... So I presume its a gr8 deal considering the lowest price we saw last week at Sears and Amazon.

Wonder if local pick up is nation wide for all stores now, or is it still for just select locations?

At the checkout page, it shows "NEW: Free In Store Pickup"
Didn't really use it cause I don't have a Fry's in my area, but if anybody tries, please let the others know

Seems to want all cc info to select "choose store" for me here in Atlanta.

No VGA but just get a DVI to HDMI cable or adapter. If you don't have DVI, buy a new video card. Adapters can be had for $4. Link

You can get another 8 inches for another $300.

Something worth considering for the long run. The 720p 50 incher is well liked.

Living in California sucks. Tax and recycling fees jack the price another $80. If I want it shipped, thats even more.

Hmmm, I thought the $999 was a good price in April at BB, used the Panasonic install rebate.
Great TV, perfect for our bedroom.
