Yes it is. I upgraded to 4 GB Ram and 512 MB video for an extra $100 and called it a day.

Example? I have been configuring pretty much every deal that came out in the past 2 months and this is the cheapest for the 17". You may get something similar, at the same price level from Dell but DV9000 series is better than Inspiron 1700s

Does that mean if there is a $150 rebate on the laptop you will not get the instant rebate, or does that mean that the laptop is not available for this deal? It means the coupon is not stackable. When you enter the coupon, the instant rebate disappears and is replaced with the coupon saving. You can still use it even if there's already an instant rebate.

I guess it is either FatWallet Cash Back or Discover Cash Back. I preferred the FatWallet Cash Back so that I could use my American Express which extends the warranty by one year.
