I realy love the silly dudes like you believing that there was only one in the whole country. I ordered last night for pick up (the website only allowed me to order one for some reason). Went to pick it up this morning, the manager in store said they had 3 of them in stock. I told him that I want all of them and he gladly sold me all 3 of them. Thank you all you silly dudes who just sitting here posting BS.

Are you from Bakersfield, CA.? Cuz I called and they said someone came and bought all three they had left.

Dang! Why all the negatives? After all, it wasn't sold out by the time it was posted. I was able to score one of these at the Folsom, CA store at 1:45PM today.....last one, though.

Picked mine, $43.39 (including tax), New Iberia, Louisiana. The manage at first was very surprised but still gave it to me without any question.

Shows as none available in my area. The three actually on the shelf are marked $120. They never were very good at the whole 'clearance' thing there...as evidenced by the stuff that's been there on 'clearance' for over a year now, with no price changes.

Many are saying that "it is saying out of stock in my area," and others went and checked at their local stores. Is there a way to check online if they are available (hate OD search functions-so un user-friendly)...or do you have to go into the store, and if you go into the store, is it just on the shelf with printers?

How about that for a run-on sentence!

Why ask when you could have googled it yourself. It is network ready, it has an ethernet port to plug into a router or wireless router and needed drivers. See review HERE at cnet.

It comes with a 2000 page toner cartridge. There is also a 5000 page cartridge available.

gotta act fast. Its now showing as $229. Tried a few other tricks for instore and various other pickups and it showing as discontinued.

I stand corrected. I called 6 stores, and though the internet showed them out of stock, the are reserving one up front for me. I verified the price. BTW, the SKU is 694-215 for when you call.

If you call in to Office Depot and give them the SKU they'll look it up. Two stores that said it was discontinued online had units left. Got the last one in Wheaton, IL 2 minutes before closing last night.

I searched in the nearby cities with no luck. I called a store that is 1 hour away. Since my sister lives there she got me the last two printers. The salles rep told her they thought the price was wrong (39.99), but since that's how they were ringing up..

Just picked up another one at the Windward Pkwy store in Alpharetta. They had just received 2 this morning. As yesterday, rang up at $39.99. With ink coupons another printer for $33 after tax!!!

Decided to purchase a 2nd unit to have the toner when the one I have runs out. Crazy way to buy toner, but AT THIS PRICE HOW CAN YOU REFUSE? And I have a second printer if the first gives out.

Deal is very much alive as stores are still getting in printers this week for some reason...

Good luck to those still hunting. I left the 2nd one at the Windward store an hour ago and suspect it's already gone, but you can always swing by to check if you are in the vicinity. You do have to go to an OD to get an accurate inventory for the surrounding area. Would not advise calling!!!
