It's only a hot deal if you want the drink. If you only want the sandwhich, you're only saving 20 cents.

thanks.
you definitely need to add "with purchase of a large drink" to the title. it'll be less misleading.

the price of the sandwhich is only 20cents more than a large drink?
i'd think the sandwhich would be at minimum $2.99
how much can a large drink be nowadays, $1.69?
I think the large drink was $1.85 and my receipt said the sandwich was $1.99. Maybe 20 cents isn't right, but there wasn't a huge difference.
if that chicken is the size of the wendy's chicken sandwhich (And is real white meat, not some fake patty), i think $1.99 is a pretty good deal on its own.
That is from the SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA KFC website (kfc-la.com).
You really should only use regional coupons where they were meant to be distributed.
Sure, managers elsewhere might take them. But restaurants and retailers will see what is happening and may cut back after coupon misuse. As CVS has done.

The stores that put out the coupon pays dearly to do so.
In the hopes to get customers.
Those that do cost those stores plenty.
They stores that do not and do accept them got that customer in at no cost.
It would be silly for management to deny it's use.
To say nothing of the prospective buyers thoughts of the location that refused the coupon.
Remember not all store are not participating in this buy a large drink and get a sandwich for free. For $2 i could buy two sandwiches at wendy and get my free drinks at work.
KFC sandwhiches are OK but their sandwitches are great!

It looks like it's for the regular size sandwich(es) and not the newer "bite-size" little $1 ones. If so, this is a good deal since the sandwiches are usually up around $3 and are generally great. Don't know if it's included, but the KFC chicken wrap sandwich is the bestest sandwich ever.
ma yan that be some goooood chicken
What I want to see KCG do in my area is to bring back the
buffet, all you can eat.
I do not think they have it anywhere now.
I tried it in N. Cal and they don't carry that sandwich ![]()
I like KFC chicken and mashed potatoes. Original and dark meat please. Thank you.

Q. What does it cost to add a coupon to a website A: Hardly anything
And it hardly costs anything, per store, for printed coupons. When you have thousands of stores.
If get a sick feeling because you tried to use a store coupon from out of the area, that clearly states "participating stores only". And you walked into the store knowing ahead of time it was not meant for your area. Then you deserve it.
Target stores are HUGE in Australia. Do you try to use Australian Target coupons where you live?
Brainless arguments such as yours make you appear brainless.
And, yes, many managers are told to appease brainless customers. For PR reasons.

Nonsense.
Franchisees pay for everything.
Why do you think is is almost impossible to take home a stack of napkins. ![]()
They have to pay old man fungus chin (aka the colonel) for everything.
This talk of KFC reminds me I need to send an eMail to the corporate office about a very big problem with one of the local locations.
Where you enter you can also see the back door.
How disgusting is it to see 2, 3 or 4 workers all puffing away there and then coming into the store when someone enters.
Yuk.
Of course if asked if they washed their hands they say yes.
A total lie because they would not have had time to do it.
Also the health department needs to be involved.
Do you think I could get a bucket of sandwiches...? Their chicken always tastes better when it comes in a big paper bucket. They also taste better when you eat them at the park.
