If you order 2 the EPP discount goes from 8% to 12%.

You have to got to the frontpage on the EPP site and select front the rolling banner. From there choose the 1530 with the 2-year warranty.

Updated with the 2 year 860 dollar configuration.
The M1330 doesn't come with the 9 Cell battery upgrade.

How does this compare to the M1330 deal from last week? Reference: Dell M1330 loaded $1199 @ Dell Home

I really need a laptop for travel, business, and personal use and I think the M1330 is more my style. The only thing is I leave for a trip in the 4th week of July and can't wait very long.

There should be more deals to come as the fiscal quarter comes to a close, right? Any idea as to when in July this occurs?

i think this is a warm deal however if you get it you are better off getting the 4 year warranty for $80 more than the 3 yr warranty but it also comes with a $70 gift card, I spent 1063 for the same system that configures to $1160(4yr) but mine had 3gig ram but also came with accidental coverage for 4 years and lojack for 4 years so I would net this as about $150 more than last may 22. Mine also had 800 fsb vs this one 667 so that $50 cancels out the extra ram.

The first 37 dollar discount is from the EPP of paying the Dell systems.
Hence if you get the 3 year, the discount is elevated to 8%.

I buy a LOT of hardware from Dell for my department.
This is absolutely BEST product Dell has ever made.
The XPS has many bells-and-whistles I love like HDMI, remote control, touch buttons, the HINGE etc.

I bought slightly better configuration(2.4GHz/LED display/7200RPM) thru EPP deal from FW for about $1200.

I ordered that for our sales department. This got delivered yesterday and I played with it.
I personally have the M1530 from the 2 months ago EPP deal.

Both are basically the same except ofcourse the size/weight.
If you travel you should go with 13... Just for the record, it had better processor 2.4GHz. as opposed to 2.0 o this deal.
