CRUCIAL DDR 1GB PC3200 MEMORY $17.99AR + FREE SHIPPING Archived From: Hot Deals |
Just so everyone knows this is 184pin DDR for Desktop. Notebook DDR uses 200pin SODIMM. I got excited last time and bought a 184-pin which is collecting dust now
You interested in selling it?
Thanks, OP, been waiting for a deal on old DDR to give my media server a little pep.
I can't seem to add it to the cart. ![]()
Edit: SOLD OUT
How are Crucial's rebates? I know I'm spoiled with EGVA's three week turn around, but is Crucial good about paying their rebates?
Bah, its dead ![]()
Crap....I had it in my cart, turned off my computer to check my memory slots, came back and it was sold out!
Guess there's nothing you can do about that :\
Thanks for the post OP.
Crucial is pretty good about their rebates. It's not 3 weeks but should be more between 6-7 wks. I already received mine from the previous Buy.com deal.
Is it available in Fry's B&M at this price?

Get SiSoft Sandra?
Neat little utility...thanks dbphillips.
I ended up buying this ram Monday when it went back to the same price and just got it today. I originally had 2x512 and now I added the 1gb to a third slot. My "Windows Experience Index" in vista showed a DROP of about 2 points in the RAM section after adding this.
Is that normal? Should I just take it out?

You don't say what mobo you have but normally when you have a larger stick you put that in the first slot (closest to the cpu). You may have a board that requires the ram to be added in pairs too. You should probably ask in the computer forum but when you post give your system specs. The gurus will be able to give you advice.
