Hi all,
Just wanted to point out that Juno and the Golden Compass DVDs (both FF and WS on the latter) are up at Family Video under their Used section for $4.95 each.
Even if you didn't like the movie, you have to admit that this is a pretty darn good deal considering the age of the films and how much they cost new.
They also have the new Rambo movie for $5.95, which seems like it could also be fairly hot.
Their prices seem to oscillate a lot (sometimes titles like this will jump back up in price) so if you're interested, buy now! Shipping isn't free, but I ordered 6 discs and it was $1.95 I think. I'd check out the others as well while you're there if you're interested to combine shipping too. I always wind up ordering like 6-8 titles when I do.

EDIT: Deal appears to be dead. Both titles appear to be back up to $6.95 (still not too bad... but no $4.95).
EDIT #2: Juno apparently is still $4.95 in cart (as stated below) even though it shows up $6.95 on the page for it.
EDIT #3: Looks like they're both back @ $3.95! (Except for Golden Compass WS which is $4.95 again.) Plus a bunch of other films at $3.95 or $4.95 that were previously $6.95 or more.

I don't know if they do this for online orders....

In the past when I had purchased used dvd's from their B&M locations, they used a special machine, when asked, to RESURFACE the disc at no extra charge so it looked as good as new.

they used one of these machines...

If you like the goldern compass, I highly recommend the audio book production of the His Dark Materials trilogy. The roles are played by different actors. Lyra's voice is great. The bear's lines are read by someone with an accent. Fantastic production.

They claim that the discs bought online are all "refurbished" using the resurfacing machines.
I do know that they still come with these annoying stickers on the discs, but they can be removed fairly easily if you're upset about it.

They also have Star Wars Trilogy for $4.95 and Wonderworks The Chronicles of Narnia for 4.95. Keep in mind this is not the recent movie but the BBC version.

Only kind of dead. Juno shows up as $6.95, but it was $4.95 when you add it to cart. The other titles did go up in price though. I just grabbed Juno and the Star Wars Trilogy. Thanks!

Both VERY hot! I didn't even notice those. I have them both already, and they're OOS now, but... yeah, that's amazing.

Crap, they only had Bourne in fullscreen when I ordered
Now I might have to order again...

boo! they just canceled my Star Wars DVD saying they're out of stock=(

By the way, it looks like they have nearly 1700 titles that are $4.95 used. Just go to the "used DVD" section and sort by price. Obviously I couldn't look at all of them but there were some pretty new and/or decent movies in there.

Good call. Lots of films just dropped in price. I can't believe some of the titles they already have used now too. (Spiderwick Chronicles? It only came out just under 2 weeks ago!)

You can use "GAMEPRO7" for free shipping on movies too.

Credit to Junkdude101 here at FW, found this code in his post for used games at Family Video and thought I would try it with movies, worked for me!
