FYI, the REFURB on the back of the unit can be taken off. They are just metallic letters glued on. I was able to carefully use a plastic spoon handle to push the letters until the adhesive was loose enough for me to pry off. Now mine doesn't have the word Refurb on the back. I found this out because my replacement from Froobi came with the F missing from REFURB but I could clearly see the adhesive residue in the form of an F on there. I was able to rub off the residue and that's what got me the idea to pry off the other letters.

Froobi website lists a 60 day warranty on these.
