2GB. However, if you install "rockbox", believe you can use higher capacity SDHC cards.

I purchased one of these back around December. By March (of course after 90 days) my left headphone stopped working. It's not a problem with the headphone, but a problem with the jack. These things are cheap for a reason. I don't think I would purchase from Sandisk again.

No problems with it.

24 months, no problems. Works like new. Battery too. Heavy use in an ag/dirty/greasy environment.
Last week I bought an E260 - 4Meg unit from Woot. Today it died - screen went dead. Man I was peeved! Then I say this - suddenly I'm not so upset. Naturally I'm looking for a refund from Woot. How are they on refunds?
Oh yeah - in for one

Rockbox works just fine. Same here about two years of abuse (in boats, cars, waverunners) and works fine.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the OP! I sent my 2GB rockboxed sansa through the wash this week - I have two of these and they were both refurbs and had both been running strong for about a year till the washing machine incident. Can't beat the price and the feature set - these little things are awesome!
If you know you're going to be rockboxing for sure, might as well add a 4GB card from this thread and have a 10G flash player for less than $65!
Which Rockbox skin are you guys using? I'm thinking of using the one entitled "itunes." Any other recommendations? I'm looking for something clean and sophisticated looking.

Has anybody gotten a confirm email or an update to their order yet? My account on the froobi site still says new order. No email and no charge to my card.
Resellerratings doesn't have anything for this site...
<edit> Got a tracking number today - still haven't received a single email confirming my original order or the shipment but USPS likes the tracking number so I'll take it - 2 less emails to delete </edit>

Got shipment notification yesterday. With tracking number that doesn't work on froobi's own page (but seems to be the format that is used by USPS).

Login, Click view order and you'll see the tracking # if it shipped. Paste it into google and then bookmark it.
At 6 gigs, with expansion capability this price is just too good to pass up. Green.

It just says shipped, but it doesn't have tracking number.

Did you click on view order button? Might take some time to show up. Mine was shipped on 6/27 with USPS from California.
GUYS: THERE IS SOME DISCUSSION ABOUT THESE REFURBS CONTAINING INFERIOR PARTS at the end of THIS thread.
Sorry for the caps. Just wanted to get your attention.

Considering that these units were made in China, the quality was crap to begin with. I doubt that the quality of refurb can be much worse than of the new units.

Ipods are made in China too. You think they're of low quality?
