Received one, took 3 minutes to unlock. The only bad thing I just noticed - it supports only 850/1900, it is not a world phone, won't work in Asia or Europe. But it is a fine phone for local use.
Sorry - New to this, but I need a new phone. I am on the old Blue AT&T. Can I order this, use my blue AT&T sim card and do the unlock, and then it will work?

If it hasn't worked in other unlocked phones, then never mind.
I received my phone today and simply inserted my own sim card and did not need to unlock the phone.
I do have at&t but under a old contract with no expiration.
The only thing that was bad about the plan is that I had to purchase unlocked phones (even at&t ones would ask for a code), but this phone simply worked right out of the box.

Thanks OP, in for one, lets see what my luck has in store for this phone, I am on TMO and a extra unlocked flip phone does not hurt 
In for 2 never hurts to have a few back up phones since this is a first timing getting one these phones do i need to active the sim card or anything so i don't get a charge back or something like that. and thx op

Got mine today, will use to replace Mom's old Samsung flip phone which was slightly larger in size. Tried the unlock and it worked without a hitch.
