Cruising around my local Lowes tonight (Boardman, OH - 44512) and discovered that all patio furniture had been marked to clearance today. 30% of lowest price (prices are marked). Worked out well for me. Worked the girls at the register to give me the 30% off and used an eBay Home Depot 20% coupon to boot. Got the Herrington bar set - table, 6 chairs, umbrella, and stand for about $1100. Yesterday, the set would have cost me $2150. Lots of people looking at the 30% stuff, get their quick. Stuff seems to be marked down to match on-line if you put in your zip.

Crap, I've been looking for a GREAT deal on patio furniture and THIS looks like IT. Problem is, I don't have any of the HD 20% coupons and it'll take a few days to get them from eBay. I leave Thurs morning for Europe for 11 days.

I assume you guys are saying its only on sale for the 4th week right?

CRAP. Maybe I can email a seller and ask if they will express the Coupon to me so I have it by Wed the 2nd.

Any other suggestions? I think the coupons say you can't apply them to already bought items, so I can't buy the stuff and then return rebuy with the coupons when I get back.

The wife's been waiting for clearance time to pick up the patio set she wanted.

Got it earlier this week, added another coupon we had - big savings. And we still have plenty of warm weather left to enjoy it.

The funny part was hearing that they charge $10 per chair for assembly. There's 4 bolts per chair - 4!! 6 chairs and a table assembled in about 45 minutes including the unpacking...

I spoke to a guy in the patio/garden area today and he said they sold $27,0000 worth of patio furniture at his store this past Saturday alone.

We picked up the "Baja" set, 6 tables + a large rectangular glass-top table for ~$230. Looks to be good quality- aluminum frame with solid construction. Of course it's not as sturdy or nice as the $1000 sets, but for the price it's a good deal.
