Interesting...I will try to find some reviews about it and also ink cost.
non-wifi version 11 bucks cheaper
I've had some wretched experiences with Dell branded printers. One used to jam during each print job. We kept it on the desk sitting sideways so we could feed it one sheet at a time. It jammed less often that way. It would drop the network connection about once an hour, and guzzled ink like it was cheap beer. I don't know who they rebranded from, but they probably were the supplier to the Soviet bloc.
I wouldn't touch this unless there were third-party reviews, on a non-Dell site.
Ink costs and links posted. The color ink appears to be a combined cartridge. Run out of one and you have to replace the entire thing again. The cartridges are also listed as "high capacity" but I could not find a specific amount of ink in mL.
hmm, any stackable coupons, I've been wanting a wireless printer for a while. $60 sounds great.
Same cartridges as the 926. Available at Staples.

They are NOT "high capacity"...that is listed as OPTIONAL.
Contents in the Box
V305w User's Guide (included in the Installation CD), Power Cord, Standard Capacity Color Cartridge, Set Up Instructions (color poster), Installation Software CD (software and drivers),Hardware Recycle Program, USB Cable
so is this a good deal on a wifi printer or not.
Pretty good price when compared to the cheapest HP and Epson wireless AIO printers that I found.
HP Photosmart C4385 - $109.99
Epson Stylus CX9475Fax - $150
If I didn't have a huge box of ink already for my printer, I'd consider picking this up. I can't justify paying $20 for ink when my printer's already working.
How does the WiFi function work actually? I mean, if I have a laptop OR PDA WITHOUT the driver installed, can I still print with it?
I have a USB printer hooked to my home server and it serve also as "wireless" printer through NetBIOS.
Secondly, my current Dell A810 just suck at printing photo. Color is not bright and dull. SO I am hoping this v305W have better quality.
Cool. Free shipping on Software & Peripherals, and 3% Cash Back. Thanks OP.
If I had to guess - it would be wireless connection to your router. So all of your devices will need to be able to connect to the router (to be on the local network) first to be able to do any printing. As to the drivers - the laptop might be able to print to it (using generic HP Laser Jet 2 or some other old "semi-universal" standard).

That's DVSman. Yep, I know it had to be connected to the router or hub, but I was wondering how the laptop or PDA can print without the drivers.
Now if anyone can tell me how good the print result is (the A810 is just bad..bad!bad!), I'll buy this in a heartbeat.

Sometimes you need a driver, i doubt it wont work on pda but it should work on windows xp / vista
picked one up, thanks OP
