This card is even more overclocked than the BFG 8800GT OC and OC2 models (see below), themselves the subject of several hot deals lately. What really sets the OCX aside is its massive cooler, making it a 2-slot card (unlike the OC and OC2) but greatly improving its heat dissipation both at idle and under load. Some of the uniformly positive reviews suggest that the muscular cooling apparatus gives the OCX additional headroom for even more overclocking, if that's your bag. The reviewers also praised the quietness of the OCX's fan. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the fan glows green while it's running. ![]()
