That software sux. SpyBot still kills 'em, and it's free, no "subscription" required.

while spybot is a great nice free program, it's doesn't get everything, one I suggest is superantispyware - free for personal edition

It might "sux". Still it is a fatwallet deal and a negative feedback should be per the quality of the poster, not the product.

I dont intend to start a product comparison war, but having used a number of free and paid security apps I can vouch for the fact that SpySweeper gives you more bang for your buck. I have found it more effective than the free apps and comparable to the top 3 while being cheaper. Nice deal OP. Thanks.

Works like a charm. Thanks OP!

I use Ad-aware, spybot and spysweeper.

I have commented before on how very good this product has been for me and those that depend on me to keep their computers going. Except that their support was rather clueless the one time I think I had a false-positive, in the four years I have seen this installed on dozens of computers, there have been ZERO instances of spyware detected or "hijackings".

Is this a new FW rule or something?

Not just you. I'm having the same problem. Anyone want to post the download instructions? I already got the e-mail with the activation key. Will downloading the trial from their website work?

I use Spy Sweeper from the 12/07 1 year deal. One caution - It prevents Windows XP service pack 3 from installing ((registry) access is denied error). I tried shutting it down, booting in safe mode but it always runs in background. I uninstalled it, installed SP3 and then reinstalled it (save your code).

Uh, NO. Ratings go by the DEAL (meaning the product), not the person posting it, moron.

Guys,

I appreciate the 'deal', but I would STRONGLY recommend against installing the latest versions of Spyware Sweeper.

Here's why:
