Plenty of other places besides buy that have it for cheaper on Froogle.....just wonder if the MIR is good though those places.

It would appear that the rebate is good regardless of where the radio is purchased, as long as it comes from a "retailer":

This offer is only valid on new HD Radio receivers, tuners or adapters purchased from a retailer for $51 or more.

I am not sure it is good at "any" retailer. I wanted to buy the Sony XDR-F1HD at Etronics and use the eBillMe rebate of $25 for purchases over $100, and combine that with the $50 rebate from OP.

I called the toll-free number on the rebate form to ask about the "retailer" part and found out the phone number is wrong. I did manage to find the contact info for the fulfillment house though. I tried calling but they are closed.

I think a lot more people would benefit from this thread by making the subject more generic "HD Radio $50 Rebate (Select Models/Retailers).

The exciting "deal" is the HD Radio rebate, not the horribly named "iLuv" radio.

This might be a real deal if you can find a Sony XDR-S3HD that's in various states of clearance at BBuy (item #8383554). Great radio. I bought two in early June at $45.99 each, but later saw them in another store a few miles away on "clearance" for $17x.xx. Rebate form has minimum purchase price of $51.

Can anyone post a receipt? My local BB claims that they would PM with one showing a lower price - still $159 in San Diego.

Found an XDR-S3HD at the Kennesaw, GA BBuy today. It was the former floor model, dirty and a little scuffed, tucked in with the open box items, and had no price tag. Found Joe BlueShirt, and inquired about the price. He told me they were normally $199, and he'd let this one go for $150. I declined, and told him I'd purchased two last month at a different store for $46 each. He seemed really surprised, and said he couldn't go lower, as it was still a stocked item, and insisted they would be receiving new stock soon. I inquired at the CS desk, and was told the radio was on clearance at $151. It's still there.

Anyone have any idea when the Dual XHD-7720 will come out? The XHD-6425 is a great receiver as it is. I am hoping the 7720 will offer improved HD sensitivity PLUS bluetooth built in.
