I wasn't sure that it worked for me either. Then I saw went back to my cart and saw that it marked all my clearance items down individually (not at the end).
The code only works for CLEARANCE items (those that end in .49 or .99)

Unless you have a store really close by, doesn't the cost of your time and effort and gas negate free shipping? Looks like it's a flat $7 to ship.
It seems that it is true that the code only works for clearance. I can't get it to work for my "bargain" selections.
