Is this starting tomorrow? The old ad says prices good June 27th until July 1st and then I believe the newest ad says 4th of July deals. I called my local Frys store and he said that item was no longer good. Mebbe he's just an idiot.

Oh well

The links in OP are for reference only. This is a B&M deal, as seen on your local newspapers Fry's ads section, like this one.

good in the phoenix market, i believe that board has the bsel mod as an option in the BIOS itself

yes BSEL mod in BIOS
can OC to whatever you feel like even takes 800 RAM

Is this a good deal? My motherboard just crapped out...damn bad capacitors. I need a new setup ASAP!

They've had this just about every week for a few months.

Set BSEL to 1066 to OC to 2.93 GHz. You can try 1333, but at stock voltage, it has never made it to POST on these boards.

Forgot to mention, on these ECS boards with the BSEL option in the BIOS, if you are OC'ing, don't forget to diable EIST and C1T in the BIOS for OC stability.

I left them on with this board and an E7200 OC'ed to 3.16Ghz (BSEL from 1066 to 1333), and it has been stable. Best of both worlds having them enabled when OC'ing...low power at idle, high performance under load.
