For those wondering if this company, and/or the product, are worth it...
I've got the silver Antec Notebook Cooler. Got a new one on the last posted FW deal, but I've had one for years before the new one and it was great until it started to malfunction recently. Happy to have a new one. This is just a small price to pay for the great benefit of a cool laptop. Definitely worth it.

Of the last three Frys rebates I have sent in, recently, two of them just DISAPPEARED! They never showed up in Parago's system and were not acknowledged. It's like I never submitted the rebates; two out of three!

This for sure from me:

If you go for this deal - and it IS a great deal - when you send in your rebate be absolutely SURE to make and keep a copy of your submission. That has always been the rule, the smart thing to do, but now more than ever.

I have done a LOT of rebates and I thought I had experienced and overcome all the problems. But nothing like this ever happened before to me. It is a major PITA, but I guess it's a sure-fire way for Parago to cut down on fulfillments - and bottom line that's how money is made in the world of rebates.

First off, Fry's rarely does their own rebates anymore. %99 of their rebates are Manufacturer rebates targeting fry's purchases and this particular rebate isn't even a Parago rebate anyways, it's a Continental Promotion Group, Inc. better known as www.RebateStatus.com rebate.

That siad you do have a point about this rebate being a little problematic. I bought this same item for FAR from Fry's in early April and while the rebate showed up online after about one and a half months it still hasn't been paid (and based on the online status looks like won't be paid until next week!). In the meantime since then I've done at least a dozen other rebates including PriceGrabber's that are done through the same fulfillment company and all have come and gone so this is indeed a slow moving rebate and by the looks of it fault lays on Antec not the rebate processor. For me though as long as it's paid it's fine if it would take even a few months as the cooler itself is really great!
