My buddy works for a insurance company and they told him to find the best price for a 24 port switch and he found a Netgear that is cheap AND found a mail in rebate for a free ipod Nano. His company was pumped because they got a good deal on the switch and he got a free ipod Nano (didn't show on receipt since it's a manufacturer rebate) Trying to convince my boss we should "update our systems"

I would not call that cheap.

If you want a HOT deal watch the CDW outlet, I picked up a Netgear 48-port switch for about $300, down from about $1,100.00 and it came with an IPOD Touch which I received in about 2 weeks.

Nothing there now, but worth a look every few weeks. Limit 2 per household.

$300??? Wow. I'll have to keep an eye out for that!

For me it really doesn't matter about the price since I'm not paying. I just want the free Nano - I see they also have a free touchscreen on a 48 port.

This is more of a deal for the office tech guy then the average person (If my boss saves money it doesn't help me)

2 weeks? I've been waiting over 7 weeks since they received it. And I didn't get outlet pricing on mine.
