Just a reader and not any kind of burner. Comes with DVD software for playing Blu-ray disks. Not every video card will be capable of playing blu-ray HD, so your computer might need a little extra.

and your stootsi drive will burn regular dvd's and cd's too. as pointed out previously in this thread, this liteon won't.
