I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago at a B&M Frys. It feels cheap, but it worked very well and connected seamlessly. We moved it through several locations in a hotel and various laptops hooked up without a hitch.

If you have a Fry's locally, these are 14.99 + tax.

You sure it's the Airlink AR670W? Local ad here shows it at $19.99 like it has been when they go on sale the past few months. The $14.99 one is the Airlink AR430W which is the Atheros-based SuperG 108 wireless router.

I use mine as an AP. Disable DHCP on the router, give it a static IP in your existing subnet, setup the wireless as you want to, and plug it into the network on one of the 4 LAN port switches.

ddwrt?

NO DD-WRT (as of yet). Someone previously stated it supported DD-WRT which was why I bought it, but they later retracted the comment.

Still a good price for a N router though.

The 150N range uses the ralink chipset, supposedly dd-wrt will be making an announcement about supporting it soon. If you stick with that family (Airlink 150N) of products you will get the 150mbs speed, if you try and mix it with other draft N equipment you will likely only get 54mbs.The router by itself is quite stable and works well with G equipment.

Not a good answer, because it's misleading. That's just one solution. The easier one, to the extent you often or sometimes or even during the print job leave your main computer on, Windows already has built-in the ability for any computer connected to the printer to become a print server. Super easy. Any computer accessing the one connected to the printer can print to it, wirelessly or wired.
