Good for some computers which are slightly older and don't have PCI express or other newer slots.

You can do a in-store pick-up to save on shipping, however this option wasn't available for me; poor

$50 Rebate

Ultra compatible with just about any machine. Green from me.

any experiences with this rebate processor?

BrianGa said: any experiences with this rebate processor?

They are good as per my experience.

They now process rebates for Pricegrabber, some Antec products I bought Amazon, TrendNet, Bed bath and beyond, xfx gear and probably for others too.

I have never had any problems with them, they have a nice and simple tracking system in place. Only thing is that rebates do take time to come. It is typical for the rebate to come after 8 weeks if the terms indicate "4-8 weeks for processing". They also give an approximate date of mailing the check, which has at times changed for me (Filed a rebate in April, got email today saying check is in the mail, so close to 8 weeks, but as per the terms and conditions). So waiting is a little issue but I never had any problem getting a rebate from them.

Once due to my error, a rebate check was sent to a wrong address (typo in zip code, rest of the address was same). They let me upload the pdfs of my rebate submission, processed it again in 1 week and I had my check in a total 10 days.

If you need any more information, then ask me.

Adding the following: I have filed about 15 rebates with them in last 14 months.

no free shipping though.

any idea if it is available in store?

My local store is not showing the rebate for this card, but I wouldn't be surprised if it shows up sometime in the next week.

Just ordered one. (my first purchase thanks to fatwallet).

There was an option for an instore pickup. I do not know if your Fry's has them in stock. I am sure you can just call them and ask or stop by one.

Thanks ajayendra for the heads up!

FYI ... Tempe Fry's has a bunch of them in stock.

If AMD/ATI continues it's price assault upon Nvidia then we should be seeing a lot more FREE AFTER RABATE Nvidia products very soon. muhaha :]

anyone know if you can get more than one with the rebate...I need two!

The chance you get the rebate is not up to the processor, most of the time the problem is with the manufacturer, any experience with 3D Fuzion rebates?

For whatever reason nVIDIA stock tanked yesterday losing 30% of its value.

fyi, VGA.

note that the rebate says to send in the 'Proof of Purchase', not the UPC. I noticed that the rebate says model #3DFR55256P", the 'Proof of Purchase' says #3DFR55256PW2, and the UPC has right below it #3DFR55256P. Shouldn't be an issue but I sent in both PoP and UPC just in case.

No DVI, a deal killer for me.

More for the rest of us.

What do you expect? They had to slash the GTX260 down to $299 (as low as $260 AR IINM) because the HD4870 and HD4850 blind-sided them.
I don't care who wins, as long as the market stays competitive. $100-$150 has never bought this much GPU
(Okay I profess that I slightly prefer ATi cards due to the YUV bug with nVIDIAs)

FWIW, my local Frys (Oregon) had the card for $64.99. Bought it online for $50 and chose "In Store Pickup" and grabbed the card right there.

How do you do that when it is sold out online? Or did you buy it when it was still available at the web site?
