Worked for me today. Printed the coupon off, drove down at lunch, and paid $108 with taxes out the door. No issues whatsoever. This was in Phoenix.

I can't get the code 400088303855 to work online, any other way to reserve it online for pickup?

Thank you very much!

I just got one using the $50.00 coupon and some gift cards, my total cost was under $19.00 including tx.

Green for you!

Thanks OP! Just grabbed one here in Bakersfield with the $50 off coupon. $107 out the door

I forgot to add that only the silver one was at that price and the blue one had a tag of 169.00 and was told that only the silver they would match to the on line price... besides the color... what's the difference?

Thanks again, I am charging mine now and look forward to see it in action.

PEACE

want to reserve one before you go to the store. Order one on bestbuy.com for instore pick up so that way they will have one aside for you and when you come and pick it up tell them you want to purchase it on another card or something so they can ring it up instore.

Ordered online for instore pickup, printed out coupon. Arrived at Clarksville TN store this am, to pick up. I presented the coupon which cashier said could not be applied to the internet order- she was however, happy to honor the internet price and sell me one for 149 less the $50 coupon for a total of 99 bucks plus tax. thanks for the heads up Q

Actually it's hard to compare. Magellan Maestro 3100 POI database can be updated to 6 mil. In that deal Mag. is referb., and many people complained about Mag's cust.service. Both Garmin and Mag. has own strong and weak sides. In general for inexperienced user this Nuvi 200 is better.

The following is the first listed review of the magellan maestro copied from the TigerDirect link above. Apparently he favors the Garmin also.

Can't recommend. Priced well at $100 (refurbished) but seriously lacking in many areas. I have a Garmin 2610 that I bought six years ago and am familiar with how GPS' should work. I bought this as a present for my wife and was fairly unimpressed with it. Zooming in and out takes far too long, the screen is hard to read in sunny conditions (I adjusted brightness), speaker volume is too low to hear, even when set on max, mount offered limited adjustability and GPS unit was hard to remove from the mount. I know it only has 750,000 POI's but my wife could not find various stores and decided that 750,000 was not enough, a feature that I did not think was really necessary for her, but I've only been married for two years, so what do I know. Anyway, I decided to spend $150 and get the Garmin Nuvi 200W from CompUSA, a MUCH better GPS. The screen is bright and easy to read, volume is excellent, GPS removal is quick, no delay between screen actions. For $50 more, we have a much better value.

The coupon specifically excludes "clearance" items... how is that different from being on sale?

Chewy734 said:The coupon specifically excludes "clearance" items... how is that different from being on sale?Sale items are generally at a lower price for a given period of time then return to "full" or "regular" price, items are current and restock.

Clearance items are generally given permanent markdowns, items may no longer be available in inventory and will generally not restock.

I had no problem using the coupon- was in and out in about 5 min.

I was just about to purchase a nuvi 350 from Amazon when I stumbled upon this thread....

Are there any MAJOR differences in the two models that I should be concerned with? (ALL I care about is navigation, not other bells/whistles such as bluetooth/mp3/etc)

Thanks in advance!!

The Nuvi 350 has text to speech, speaks the streets names which I find does help in situations where there could be two streets or exits close together. Also the 350 has all of North America, US and Alaska and Canada, the 200 only has the lower 48 states.

My best buy would only take the coupon on a Garmin that was NOT on sale. The only Garmin 200's that were $149.00 not on sale was the pink one. They were sold out on those so no deal for me. They would not honor the coupon for the Garmin 200, so it would have cost me $149 out the door. Thanks anyway OP it would have been a nice deal
