Here is the Link at www.shopamex.com that has Home Depot selling a Garmin Nuvi 200 for $99.99 + Tax + Shipping.
CATCH: Only those who have AMEX card with points can purchase.
EDIT: Deal not available at shopamex.com anymore. Can only be tried at bestbuy.
Update:
I was able to buy this GPS for $99+tax (in-store pickup) at Bestbuy. Current sale price with bestbuy is $149.99. You can use the $50 coupon found in this thread Link
Actually, OP is correct - you can purchase it for $99 plus tax and shipping OR you can use points.

You do not need to have 22K+ points. But you have to be a member who participate is rewards point program.
You can pay all this with your AMEX card (just need to have minimum of 2 points). I was not able to puchase this as I did not have rewards point. I used $50 coupon today with Best Buy and go it for $99.99 + Tax and no shipping
I suspect that the real "catch" is that you are gonna catch a lot of reds. I suggest adding "for AMEX reward members only" so that you would catch less red.
Nice find OP. Addinf YMMV to title will reduce the amount of red you'll be getting.

what does it mean with rewards/?? any AMEX linked to a milege account?? when i pull it up it says The system is not available at this time. Please try again in 30 minutes. If you have any questions please call 1-800-266 9793. (code: IPRGPR:WEB)
We are sorry. Your Card(s) is not eligible for the Membership RewardsŪ program. If you would like to take advantage of the incredible rewards offered by the program, you may want to consider getting another Card.

Was intrigued at first, but the ~$16 in tax and shipping ended up cooling my jets. No real need for one right now anyway.

im not sure this will work but bestbuy does have the garmin nuvi 200 for $149 and you might be able to use that $50 off Garmin GPS coupon on it. If that work it will bring the nuvi 200 to $99. If you guys are interested I suggest trying that.

Dead? Looks like the Home Depot link is no longer on the ShopAMEX site... Only option then is to try the in-store Best Buy deal.

This is definitely the best price on the Nuvi 200! after you use the $50 coupon linked at the top of the thread at Best Buy.

I tried multiple times from two different computers last night and I could never could get them not use my points, and to pay in points would have been a pretty crappy use of them.
Now maybe I'll try Best Buy

For those of you that got in on this deal is the in store price $149 also?
Did you have to buy on line and go with in store pickup and then ask them to apply the coupon?
I would rather just go to the store and purchase if that would be possible.
Any input appreciated.

Dear ShopAmex Customer,
We have been unable to process your order with HomeDepot.
We're sorry, the merchant is not able to accept your order at this time. The points have been deducted from your Membership Rewards account and a credit will be issued to your primary card account.
Please check the Order History Page for more details.
Thank You, ShopAmex
Looks like my order's been cancelled with no real explanation, and as an added bonus, I can't check my order history as they won't let me login until I have at least 2 points on my account (I used up my points balance for this order). Thanks, ShopAmex.

Not really needed to buy instore. But I did follow that procedure just to make sure that it won't run out of stock.
You can directly purchase it from store or reserve it by purchasing online and do a return and purchase again with $50 coupon.
Also, looks like $99 on Homedepot through shopamex.com is not working anymore.

Just bought one in GA store, price $149.99 scanned cpn -50, total after tax 106.99
no go here with the coupon - my printer has plenty of ink, but it's low quality and bar code print didn't scan - I was worried so I enlarged the $50.off Garmin before going down and best I can tell the numbers are 400088383855 - BB's system didn't find that as a valid discount code so no deal thanks
Thanks OP. Got last one in Norwalk CT. Coupon scanned no problem. Also after signing up for Rewardzone, you can print out a duplicate Rewardzone card which has the bar code on it. This just makes the deal a little easier.
"OK here scan my Rewardzone card" "OK here scan my coupon"

Same experience for me. The clerk made a little push for the extended warranty (asked me why I didn't want it) but this couldn't have been easier with the coupon. Thanks, OP!

I had the same problem as someone else with the coupon. Printed it at regular size on my laser w/ plenty of toner. I've printed a bunch of BB coupons on this same printer and they scanned no problem, but for some reason this one would not. The CSR tried to key it in and got a "not a valid item" message. The manager took about 15 minutes to do something or other and then finally decided to override the price of the GPS to $99 for me. Ended up $105.99 out the door after a little hassle

Ordered via bestbuy.com with in-store pickup...
Customer Service guy tried to give me the "Not good in combination with an other offers" excuse, but when I said the coupon doesn't exclude sale items he agreed to apply it.
$149 - $50 + tax = $105.99
Thanks for the deal, my wife will love this one...

chefchu - bought mine on 7/11. (I just looked) I went back yesterday and got the free case they are currently offering in the ad. Though I don't see how they can very well offer a free case in our area if no store has them to buy in the first place. The 205 - while not as cheap looks nice - because of a faster processor and the ability to get traffic with a receiver. I was tempted to exchange but stuck with the 200. What about signing up for the Discover Card promo. I did that too so my wife can have one of these for her vehicle. You'd have to wait a bit to get it - but it is free - if you can stomack getting a Discover Miles card.
