I had been watching it for awhile, we just built a new house and had to wait for patio to be finished, when we went to purchase all were gone. I had them search inventory and it sounded like it was being discontinued, yet they showed one in stock. It was picked up at the Waukesha, WI location.
Also got seven extra chairs for $50, because they had a random box from a misc set.
It definitely was heavy, three guys can handle it though.
Even at $899 it seemed like a good deal to me, given what we saw at other local shops.

shows OOS on all stores 100 miles around me in IL, anyone know if online store stock is pretty accurate or is it worth hunting around the B&M stores anyways? I wanted the Costco granite set that is similar but was too slow in buying it, no longer in stores around me-

I wouldn't trust online inventory, I've noticed with Sams that if they have low inventory or one left it shows unavailable online. Which was the case with my purchase.
When I bought mine, the only other one that they showed in this region was in Hodgkins, IL FWIW

Would Sams Club match the price if we are able to find it in stock locally?

first-time poster as well: Just bought this table & 6 chairs yesterday from Sam's in St. Louis area. They only had floor display remaining and sold it for $675. Prior to going, they showed stock as zero even though floor model was still there.
We picked this patio set up last night at our local Sam's Club. Great deal at only $660! The only problem is it's extremely heavy (300lbs just for the granite top).
