I have a PSP. You dont need a separate mem card for each game.

Yep, your son is lying to you.

how rude, b543402. elizedge wrote that their Son "thinks" not "says".

Thanks for the Heads Up, OP. Looks to be very interesting.

I received my adapter this week and I just tried it out in my laptop and PSP. I am sad to say that neither device recgnized the micro sd card in the adapter. I deleted my confirmation email so now I need to figure out my id/pwd to Deal Extreme site so I can contact them. I would be interested in knowing what kind of experience others have had who ordered this product.

I'd be extremely interested in buying this if anyone can confirm it works.

Hello!

I also bought a SDHC MicroSD card to a memorystick Starjade pro duo adaptor sleeve and put it in my psp and tried to format it. It was rejected and not recognized as a memorystick pro duo-card. The message said:
"this is not a memorystick". Other's dealing with the same problem?

Is the micro SD card you're using brand new also? (ie, you check if it works on it's own?)
If it's already formatted to FAT16/32/whatever, might need to reformat before using in the adapter, or maybe even try disk manager and repartition it?
At any rate, I don't know anything about memory sticks, but noticed this warning on one site about memory sticks:

How can I format (initialize) Memory Stick media?
All Memory Stick media are pre-formatted for optimal performance before leaving the factory. You can use your newly purchased Memory Stick media immediately. If you wish to re-format a Memory Stick at a later date, follow the formatting directions for the device with which you are using Memory Stick media.

Caution

* * Do not try to format Memory Stick media using the standard Windows format tool (found in the "My Computer" menu).
* * When re-formatting Memory Stick media, all previously stored data will be erased. To prevent the loss of valuable data, be sure to make back-up copies before re-formatting.

I purchased one of these in late July and recieved one branded 'Kingston'

Ive only used a non-SHDC 1GB card i had laying around to test, and aside from needing to format the card in the PSP (the only non-SD device i had, NOT ANYMORE!), everything went smoothly. I did notice a tiny bit of lag when going from USB mode on the PSP back to the XMB browser, but it didnt seem to affect gameplay/saving/or running homebrew games from the card.

I couldnt be happier for $6, as for me it works like it should. Great little device, glad i wont need to purchase any useless/pricier PRO DUO media.

I also purchased an Kingston microDS to MS Pro Duo adaptor sleeve with SDHC-support. I don't have the Starjade-adaptor as I thought in the first place. I put a 4GB micro SD-card in it but the PSP won't accept it. I think it must have been formatted before in fat 32. I managed to formatt it in a laptop with a cardreader in FAT but the PSP still won't acept it. Any suggestions?
