Nice deal but note that the hepa cleaner requires 3 filters at $50 a pop plus 2 prefilters. You're talking 200 bucks just to replace filters once a year. I got a more expensive model that only needs 1 filter.
Thanks OP! Ordered one that don"t require to change filters.

Thanks, picked up a whole house humidifier, I guess I will buy the filters on eBay or something, cheaper than on their site.

are filters included in the box? if yes, then just buy a few more purifiers instead of replacement filters rizorith said: Nice deal but note that the hepa cleaner requires 3 filters at $50 a pop plus 2 prefilters. I got the Permatech 80 sq ft too: I found one five star review on Amazon--search by product # BAP1400-U. Of course, it's the only review there is, and it's super brief, but at least it is positive... figure at $20 a pop w/ no filters to replace it is too good to pass up.

Don't they make reusable filters, like the one I got for my furnace? You just take them out, spray water from the opposite side of the dust accumulation to clean it out, then put it back in.

Naaaa - not that much at all. I had one of those filters, and figure on $50 for a quantity of 3 filters. The charcoal prefilters can be purchased cheaply in a bulk pack at most stores that sell filters - then just cut to size needed. A filter change will last a year (real world use) unless there are smokers in the house.
Just a FWIW, but I still own a somewhat smaller 2 filter unit. I just replaced the pair of filters, 2 pack for $35 at Target plus 2 more prefilters cut from the same generic charcoal filter pack I purchased cheap at Menards long ago. The filters I replaced were about 2 years old. I prolonged the life by vacuuming them regularly.
Just called up Jarden and they said that most of the promotion products are OOS and some of the products were wrongly put on promotion page. So they do not checkout now with the discounted price. Seems like whoever ordered last night got a good deal. Good post OP. Green for you.
I was just able to buy 5 Permatech air cleaners for $100, with free shipping. Evidently the company has some presence in Ohio, because they added $7 for sales tax. However, I've seen similar units in the stores for between $60 and $70, so I'm certainly not complaining. Both I and my son have some sort of allergies, evidently, which we've put up with. Hopefully this will help a bit, and I'll have a few backup units.
Just ordered a Medium Room Cool Mist Humidifier - price went through as $39.99 with $29.99 discount, total $10.00. Bought an extra filter (should have shopped around!), add tax (Georgia) and expensive shipping $8.50 = $32.84 Order Total

If it isn't 'True HEPA', it's crap.
'HEPA-Style' doesn't cut it.

I have a Hunter Quiet-Flo True HEPA and to replace the particulate filter costs about $65/each. They generally last up to a year. There is also a carbon filter that is very cheap to replace.
I'm not aware of any True HEPA filters that can be sprayed off without damaging the filter to some extent. I actually tried to clean mine one time and it screwed up the filter (even with low pressure).

Yeah, we'll see how it works, but I am a student living in an efficiency and smoke at my desk and on the couch; figure if I set one up in each spot, should work....

I think you should re-research that. Some produces ozone which is an irritant to your respiratory system. That's the reason why doctors didn't like Sharper Image air cleaners, because it caused more problems.

This company is unbelievable. I bought one of the items from this sale, it said it was in stock. They shipped the wrong item. I rejected UPS delivery successfully. I emailed the store around July 30 requesting a full refund. on August 16 they give me a half refund without explanation. They stopped responding to my emails, so now I have to do a credit card dispute. Ugh.
