If you have a Starbucks Merchandise Outlet near you, check this deal out: They have a Rialto Digital Super Automatic Espresso Machine that retails for $1800 for $599. If they only one left, you can get an additional 10% off (for some reason they take 10% off $1199), bringing it down to just $481. I picked one up at that price. Smoking deal. This machine is a super-auto and makes the espresso and froths the milk automatically with one push of a button. You can also get the same model without the auto frother for $499, the same price as the Costco closeout deal, but this is for the digital model.

I ordered the Costco deal but cancelled it when I saw this. I got this at the Ontario Mills Mall SBux Outlet in Riverside county, CA. The item number is 242323.

There is only one Starbucks Mechandise Outlet store in the entire nation, which is in that Ontario Mills Mall.

if you picked up the last unit, the deal is de facto dead.

feel free to correct me if im wrong though

And what's more... this machine is barely worth $500. I bought one from Starbucks for $499 last year and it crapped out after 5 minutes. It's an all plastic affair and I would pity anyone who is stoopid enough to pay $1500 for it.

Who would buy an espresso machine for $1800 anyway?? Can't you buy like 600 espresso's for around $1800? At my rate of drinking them (which is pretty often) it would take about 4 years to make it worth owning an $1800 machine.

Sell me a machine that makes lobster bisque and I'll consider dropping $1800.

But I guess at $481, well it's a steal...

There are many people whom take coffee (and the equipment) very seriously. Starbucks is to coffee geeks, like Bose is to pro-audio consumers.

In the E61 class (for consumers), you essentially go

or if you can't afford that,

I don't know TellyTubby, maybe you got a lemon. Fifteen people rated this 4 stars on average on Amazon, and that was at the $1400 price.

bluelighter, didn't know there was only one store. There were boxes and boxes of the digital Magnifica for $500. Plus, they may get more of the Rialto's in, so check back if you're interested.

I was at the outlet today, and saw tons of these machines. They are still at 499 and 599.
