scoobydooby said:Target Niles (IL) has a Samsung BD-P1500 BluRay player for 89.xx. I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to check the item number or exact price. Plus, someone had peeled the corner off the price tag (probably an employee). End cap, electronics department.

~Samsung BD-P1500 BluRay player 50% off for $89.98, regular $179.99, DCPI 008-06-1060 ~

Did anyone ever get the DCPI on the Garmin map update? Our store is always about a week behind on markdowns and want to check on it for my Dad - not sure what I am looking for.

Wow, it has been a while since I've done any clearance shopping, but I thought I would try my luck at some Halloween candy clearance.

As reported by sitcomchap several post back, I can confirm at least a second occurrence (Jersey City, NJ) where the candy price went from 75% off straight to "item not found" status. A Dove Caramel Promises package original priced at $3.49 was ringing up as $0.87 on Sunday, but showed up today as "item not found". If this is the new pricing policy, I hope it is limited only to the "food-related" items.

Here's the info on the Dove package in case anyone is interested. There is a $1 off coupon on their grocery coupon section of the website for the Caramel Dove package. I'm attaching a picture of the package in case there may be other Dove selections on sale. Please note the fall coloring oak leaves on the lower-left and upper-right hand corner.

~Dove Caramel Milk Chocolate Promises - 9.5 oz (Was: $3.49, Now: $0.87, DPCI: 055-00-0433, UPC: 040000208488)~

Picked up the last tomtom ONE 140S tonight.. I've got a Nuvi 200 in my car so this will just be a backup. Also saw the Samsung blu-ray player but passed on it. Not much to choose from lately, but I always try to make it down on Mondays

sitcomchap said:Halloween candy never hit 90% off in either Hawthorne or Inglewood, CA. (As of yesterday, Hawthorne had lots of M&Ms left at 75% off.) Went to check again this morning and the aisle was re-stocked with Christmas stuff. Found a couple of stray pieces of Halloween candy, which scanned "not on file". And the store would only sell them to me at 75% off the original price (which they checked with a scan gun). I hope this is not how Target is going to deal with Christmas clearance.

Same thing happened here (NY). Although remaining costumes and Halloween decorations were marked 90% off last weekend, candy went from being 75% off on Sunday to "item not found" yesterday. Except for a couple of random bags of Halloween candy that had been mixed in with the regular stock, all Halloween items were gone and replaced with Christmas items. I took one bag (Halloween Almond Joys) I did find last night to the checkout just to see what price they'd charge me and luckily the clerk realized it was Halloween clearance and immediately rang it up at 90% off.

75% off is a great deal, but it was so much better to get those 90% off bags of candy after Halloween. Only the outer packaging had any Halloween markings on it, not the individual bars, so it was a great way to buy stocking stuffers and donations, not to mention a nice little stash for when a chocolate craving hits on those cold winter nights!

OK, long-time lurker, second time-poster! I appreciate the reports and updates on this site and enjoy checking Target for deals as a hobby. Hopefully I can add finds as I find them.

Probably a known clearance, but the Phx area has Sony 26" KDL-26L5000 HDTVs for $350 from $450. I asked and got one at 25% off the $350. I know sometimes they will go up to 30% off. I have seen a few around central and west Phoenix.

I was able to purchase one of the ASUS 1000HD Netbooks (Galaxy Black) on clearance and use the 10% cc savings back in Sept. I am in a situation where I can't keep it, and rather than return it, would someone in the Phoenix area be interested in buying it for less than I paid? I have the receipt and also purchased a separate carry case and extra power adapter. I was looking for $220.

You should probably take out the offer for sale...I do not think that is allowed (No kind of self promotion is allowed)...Save it for eBay or craigslist...This is not an aution site or a classified ads site.

Can you imagine what this site would look like if everyone posted sales in theses threads, especially of all the deals we got? It would be EXTREMELY hard to be a lurker then...

I think the proper way to do this is to simply mention that you bought the item (netbook), plan on returning it, and if anyone in your area (Phoenix) wants to buy it off you before you return it, ask them to send you a private message. Any posting more elaborate than that does sound like an ad that belongs on eBay or craigslist.

That's something I'd be interested in, any specs? (UPC, etc). How is the light output?

I love AA powered lights

~ IMUSA Panini/Sandwich press - DCPI 072 04 1626 - orange sticker says: was $9.99/now &$6.98 ~

This price made no sense and I think somehow it got in the system incorrectly. At Target.com, the IMUSA sandwichmaker, which looks similar, is $47.99. (At Target.com, the panini/sandwich press has no price and says it it only available in stores.)
