Today I saw a pair of the "widescreen tv simulating glasses for IPod or portable video players" thingys with a red Internet return sticker. Retails at $399... clearance price, i think, was about $279. Scanned it, and "item not recognized". Has anyone successfully purchased an item under a similar scenario? They are a pricey novelty item, with crappy reviews, but at the right price, say 90% off, I'm in! |

Darn! Just missed a similar item on Woot for $69! I had heard that they will mark down target.com items dramatically at some point. The same store recently had a DirecTV satellite/LCD TV all-in-one on the shelf (target.com item) for months... then it was gone. It was also a very pricey item. |

I purchased these about 4 months ago at target for $7.95. I purchased the matching portable DVD player for $7.95 as well. It simulates a 50" TV 4:3. I was shocked when I checked the website and saw it for $399. |
