New ... Search Target stores for inventory This search utility will search local Target stores for inventory based upon the DCPI or ASIN numbers. It's limited to only items that are on the Target website and the results are somewhat questionable. However it does seem to work.

You are correct. It wouldn't get marked as is unless it was returned from an on-line purchase. I think the arcade cabinet was just restocked by someone lazy.
As usual, YMMV. The Targets near me in Dayton OH have always allowed me to return items with red/white "as-is" stickers. Just the same I always ask if the item is returnable and have always been told that it is. I have also been told that the full warranty applies. On one "as-is" item I also purchased an extended warranty. "As-is" stickers are put on display items without boxes and/or accessories as well as on-line items at the Targets near me.

Unfortunately I could not find any of these deals in so. cal Target. I guess its going to take a while to see the clerance price.
Note: this is only 15% off, I personaly would wait for it to come down to 150. Also there were some Blu Ray players at my target at 15% off, I am hoping nobody touches them but just like the dysons we all know how often our hopes are crushed.

Could you tell which city are you in? I went there today and only a little section of toys are 75% off(transformer toys).

Toys at my local stores are stuck at 50%. At one store, the toys get marked down on Weds., the other is Thurs. As always, YMMV.
Hot wheels here are never on sale let alone clearance-only those old one-Stumblers...The Trick tracks are original price. Wish they have Trick Track even at 25% off
Also I thought after 75% clearance they are headed for donation?
