WOW, thanks OP! That's $200 less than Amazon (they just went up $100 in the last day I think) right now! I just moved to AZ so I'll be paying tax, but even then it's worth it. I guess I won't be waiting any longer to buy my Olympics set ![]()
I picked up the LN46A750 just now..great price...shocked that Amazon went up in price for this unit
Got the LN46A750. Moving into the new house and slapping this on the wall the same day. I'd been watching the 40" 750 on Amazon with the price getting to $1517. for a few hours. Glad I didn't pull the trigger since this saved me almost $200.00 and I went up to the 46" without breaking the already damaged bank.
man I miss all the hot deals. First, the LN46A550, then the costco LN46A540, now this!
Amazon has the ln46a750 for $1857 no tax and free white glove delivery...good deal?
yeah.. if you're in a state with fry's then you get taxed and it comes out to be $1830 ish after tax and you need to set up the tv yourself. plus Amazon has a nice return policy and price match (for it's own prices) for 30 days.
Got a 46750 for $1179 on Amazon Warehouse Deals Website on July 31st. Was open box unit but when I received it I did all the proper checks (clouding, pixels, and service menu panel hours.) Only had ONE hour on the panel. Absolutely perfect shape in original box.

Yeap! I live in a FRY's state. Tried to match with Best Buy - but gonna pull the trigger w Amazon - especially w the 0% financing for 24 months.

so quick question about the price match...i noticed the price went down this morning then back up in the afternoon. Does Amazon have a monitoring system so when customers request refund after the price goes back up? And is there a limit to how many times to request the refund within the 30 days?
thanks!
I print to PDF a screenshot of the page and then I notify them. They check and just refund me the difference of the amount I tell them. You can keep on doing it within the 30 day period if the price keeps dropping.
They do check prices though so it's best to call and SS as proof.
I just ordered mine.
I have heard though that there have been two shippments of this TV (ln46a750). The first batch with a HALO effect around the edges, and the second batch that the company fixed. Also the first batch claimed to have a swivel stand but didn't - and it is unknown if the second batch will have swivel stand as promised in the literature.
Anyone know any more?
I think 1850 with no tax, free setup and delivery, and Amazon's customer service is unbeatable.

Great deal for an open box item. I never can bring myself to do that on more expensive products because I know someone sent it back for a reason - one maybe unknown - but still a reason.
No - you have to manually check the price for the next 30 days. Remember that Amazon frequently changes prices - so grab a screen shot.
Yeah.. Samsung knows about the problem but does not publicly confirm the existence of the "first batch difference"..
I sure hope I get a non-halo version.. we'll see in about.. two hours.
Watch prices carefully and often. I got mine price matched down to the 46A650's price.
