This is not a special promotion, read the web site. These products are free, always have been and always will be. Good products, but this is not a hot deal.

I am using their firewall for a while. There is no activation key require to install and use it. You don't even need to register.
How does this compare to AVG 8.0? Does it use less resources? Right now, I have AVG and ZoneAlarm running. Would it be better to run all the Comodo items listed instead?

I understand all personal firewalls must provide these keys to them and they can go through your PC w/o triggering any flags, i.e. totally hidden. I think this is an oxymoron question.

The firewall is really nice. A new beta v3 of their AV is supposed to be out by the end of the month, which is supposed to be MUCH improved over the current AV (v2).

Thanks Clocks! I'll give it a try. Any experience with any of the other programs?
Thanks. I will try this firewall out. Initially, i download the anti-virus and anti-melware, too. In the end, i went with the AC anti-virus and anti-melware instead. I didnt purchase it of course. I got it somehow. Rep to you OP. I tested out the firewall by going to alot of websites that contain alot of spy-wares and viruses, but none of them infected my computer like the last time with my zone alarm. I say this firewall is good. Now, i just need to defrag my computer so it will run alittle smoother when i turn on my lappy. Again, good firewall. I need to test it a couple of more weeks before i can call it great.
The firewall is one of the top ranking firewalls available, and uses very little resources. It will give you a lot of pop-ups in the beginning though while it gets trained.
I would suggest you guys hold off on the AV, until the new beta is release. Beta v2 is not that impressive. The new version is supposed to be outstanding though, and should be out in about a week or so. It will have a redesigned GUI, better detection rates, and use much less resources. That is the claim anyway. They did not disappoint with the firewall, so I have faith their new AV will be great.

I tried it. It only works with Internet Explorer, if that's your main browser, it's worth taking a look at, which is why I didn't work out too well for me. Like I said, it is a full version with features very similar to robo-form for storing passwords, creating passwords, credit card info etc. The encryption on the program is very good. I'm not sure if it has the auto fill form feature like roboform for filling out address info, etc.
