I'm going to tell you now that those are fakes. Maybe you don't care.

Yep, those are definitely fake. Better quality than normal (I buy those myself from Thailand), but fake nonetheless. Not a terrible deal for someone who is OK with it.

As OP said they are replicas, all replicas are not the REAL deal.

Get one to show your "fake" solidarity ... don't be surprised if your wife/gf tells your she's been "faking" it all along, to satisfy a "fake" like you with her "fake" love!

There, now I feel better!

yea I don't mind if they are real fakes or fake fakes if they are decent quality. More importantly, how much is shipping and has anyone dealt with this company??

As OP said they are replicas, all replicas are not the REAL deal.

Um, no. There's a difference between "Authentic", "Replica" and "Counterfeit."

Major jersey manufacturers like Majestic make replica baseball jerseys, for example, which usually don't contain a shoulder patch, and are sized S, M, L, XL, etc.
Authentic jerseys are sized 44, 46, 48, 52, etc.

These are counterfeit jerseys, not even licensed "replicas".

+1. I'm all for getting great deals on legitimate stuff, but...Counterfeit = Illegal.

great deal...prove they are counterfeit...are you omniscient

Wow! Thanks for the love... While not commenting on counterfeit or not, these are high quality jerseys with cloth numbers, patches, and letters sewn on as opposed to the iron on letters and numbers. The price includes shipping. For those interested in "authentic" NFL jersys... here's the link to nfl.com shop. Prices start at $289 but there's free shipping over $75!

They're completely counterfeit.
These are totally illegal knockoffs.

Here, I'll just take one jersey as an example. Look at the font for the Brave's Jones jersey.

Atlanta Braves Jones Jersey Knockoff

Totally wrong font for "JONES". Look at the "J" and the "S" for God sakes. Horrible knockoff at that!

Also see the tag for this knockoff in the pic that shows a close up of "ATLANTA" on the front?

Look at the very bottom of the tag and you'll see some reflective tape. You know what's SUPPOSED to be there on a true licensed jersey? It's supposed to be the MLB hologram so these knockoff artists use cheap reflective sticker tape that is nothing more than squares and triangles to show appear as if it's a hologram. It's not.

Look at the description, it says "Authentic MLB Majestic Atlanta Braves Andruw Jones #25". Total lie.

Lastly, look at the sizing. If you knew about replica jerseys, they don't come in numeric sizes. Officially licensed replica jerseys come in sizes S, M, L, XL, etc. They're using numeric sizing which is saved for only AUTHENTIC jerseys and these are nowhere near "authentic" for the examples I've given above.

I'm an authentic baseball jersey collector, so please don't insult my intelligence by claiming these are legitimate in any way.

---

I'm really shocked that Fatwallet hasn't pulled this "deal". What's next, deals from Asia on knockoff DVDs?
Hey, get The Dark Knight on DVD already for only $5 shipped! Total shame.

Hahah look how ridiculously large and off-center the numbers are on this Victor Martinez jersey

http://www.jersey101.com/en/product_details.asp?proid=3962

I actually don't mind knockoffs, as long as people know what they're getting. Majestic has been ripping people off for years by using sweatshop labor to make jerseys for $5.00 in costs and then selling them for $90.

How about the HUGE numbers on the back of the Papelbon jersey:

Also doesn't help that on the front, "Red" is about 2 inches lower than "Sox" as well.

Domain registered in China, hosted in China, lists a copyright date before the domain was even registered, gives no contact information other than a Yahoo email address, sells obviously unlicensed merchandise, and lists their first payment option as Western Union.

C'mon, OP, I know you want that T-shirt, but do a little homework before you post.

Caveat emptor.

probably are fake, but look pretty good. How many of the jerseys on eBay do you think are real?

I have a Tomlinson authentic jersey from an NFLshop deal last year; cost $80. The tag on the bottom front of the jersey looks wrong. Mine has the jersey size above a smaller NFL players logo and a Chargers helmet on the right. The Chargers helmet is completely missing in their said "authentic" jersey. Keep trying, sweatshops!

Look how crooked the numbers are on their soccer jerseys, too.

For what it's worth, the football jerseys look to be a lot more accurate, though football jerseys are many degrees of magnitude easier to manufacture than baseball jerseys.

Are they knockoffs? Yes. Decent knockoffs? Better than most I have seen (which is kind of like being the smart kid in the.....well, you get the idea). Are they cheap? Yep.

Most of us know that you usually get what you pay for when dealing with deals of questionable nature. But for people who want to wear a jersey and who can't afford to shell out the $$$$ for an authentic jersey or a "real" replica (seems like an oxymoron to me) this seems like a decent compromise. Plus, at the prices they charge for authentics, it almost makes me want to give my business to a sweatshop in China rather than MLB or the NFL.

I did say almost.

They're illegal, plain and simple.
You could have the same debate over a shop in Asia selling bootlegged pirated DVDs at half the price. Doesn't make it right, and it's hardly a "deal".

Sure, some people don't care about the quality, but even the materials are different. The poly twill they use for lettering/numbering is low quality compared to legitimate jerseys. You can even see in the photos that the twill has like "bubbles" in it. Look at the horrible knockoff on the Matsui Yankee jersey:
http://www.jersey101.com/en/product_details.asp?proid=3565

Besides the font being horribly wrong, too low, and way too bold, look at the "bubbles" or air pockets in the actual material. When you wash it, it will only get worse.

eBay is FLOODED with these fakes, usually with 1 day auctions so they don't get instantly pulled.

I'm all for cheap legit jerseys and think companies like Mitchell & Ness are RIDICULOUS for selling jerseys made in El Salvador for $300 a pop, but this is a new low to allow illegal counterfeit merchandise to be considered a "deal" on fw.
