Good camera.

My father in law bought one for his family; I settled for the Microsoft cameras. Performance wise he's got a little bit on automatic tracking but it doesn't do too well with flare in the room. Mine is a bit more awkward for the mount.

Overall quality over Skype? Can't tell a difference.

Good price.

There is really a big difference with this cam on Skype ( if your comp requirements are fulfilled, dual core cpu and broadband ). Once the HD Skype video is activated.. wow.

hopefully you are right!

I got the $14AR deal on Quickcam Deluxe for Notebook, not entirely satisfied with image quality. I am waiting for the next round of price drop to upgrade.
